MILAN (AP) The Latest on the Champions League final (all times local):

Once again a Champions League final between the two teams could be heading into extra time as Atletico equalizes with 11 minutes remaining.

Halftime substitute Yannick Carrasco turned home Juanfran"s cross from close range to send the Atletico fans wild.

Real Madrid could have killed off the match moments earlier as Gareth Bale"s effort was cleared off the line, moments after Cristiano Ronaldo had two attempts saved.

Karim Benzema was also denied by Jan Oblak, with Ronaldo unmarked in the center of the penalty area.

Nearly 60,000 Real Madrid fans are in their home stadium in the Spanish capital watching their team play in the Champions League final.

Despite steady rain during most of the match, fans packed much of the 81,000-capacity stadium to watch the final against crosstown rival Atletico Madrid.

Four huge video screens were placed at midfield so fans could get an up-close view of the game in Milan.

Before the match started at the San Siro, the crowd in Spain sang the team"s anthem and loudly chanted as each player"s name appeared on the big screens.

The club said the exact attendance would be announced later Saturday.

Fernando Torres, who was poor in the first half, won a penalty for Atletico after he was barged over by Pepe soon after the game re-started.

However, Antoine Griezmann squandered Atletico"s chance to level as he smashed his effort onto the crossbar, much to the despair of his team"s own supporters packed behind that goal.

Griezmann is the first player to miss a penalty in the Champions League final since Arjen Robben in 2012.

Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas was booked for delaying the penalty before Griezmann stepped up.

Atletico Madrid has got more into the game as the match has progressed but Real Madrid still deservedly lead 1-0 at halftime.

Real Madrid dominated the opening stages but Atletico are now edging possession and have also had more shots on target three to Madrid"s two.

Atletico goalkeeper Jan Oblak was called into action early on, blocking the ball from point-blank range after a free kick was deflected toward goal by Karim Benzema and Casemiro.

Antoine Griezmann had Atletico"s best chance of the match three minutes from the break when his effort flew just past the left post.

It was Griezmann"s third shot in seven minutes.

Cristiano Ronaldo is bidding to break his own record of Champions League goals scored in a season but it appears to be Gareth Bale"s night instead.

The Wales international won the free kick which led to the opening goal, and headed it on for Sergio Ramos to bundle in.

It is a nightmare night for Atletico forward Fernando Torres, who has only had 10 touches in the first 45 minutes and has completed none of his five passes so far.

Sergio Ramos, whose stoppage-time leveler took the 2014 final to extra time, has put Real Madrid 1-0 up after 15 minutes.

The Real Madrid captain was on hand to bundle in after Gareth Bale flicked on Toni Kroos" free kick.

The Champions League final has kicked off four minutes late.

Award-winning singer-songwriter Alicia Keys is headlining the first-ever live music performance for the opening ceremony.

There are also more than 300 volunteer performers, 12 professional dancers and 100 people who bring in and take away the props in a glitzy 9-minute act.

Andrea Bocelli will sing the Champions League anthem.

The world-famous Italian tenor, who supports Inter Milan, sang at Leicester"s stadium earlier this month before the team was presented with the Premier League trophy.

Both teams are unchanged from their last league fixtures.

Both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have arrived at the San Siro ahead of the Champions League final.

Atletico which lost to its city rival in the 2014 final is looking for revenge and a first title, while Madrid is bidding to win the tournament for the 11th time.

The pitch is getting a final watering ahead of kickoff at 2045.

The trophy was dropped off earlier following a police escort from Milan"s center, where it had been on display outside the city"s famous cathedral.

There was a friendly atmosphere between both sets of fans in the center and outside the stadium, with supporters in high spirits and happy to pose for pictures with each other.

On Friday, a federal grand juryindicted former"Glee" star Mark Salling on two counts of possessing child p*********y, according to TMZ.

Salling was arrested for possession of child p*********y in December 2015 after Crime Watch Daily reported that the Los Angeles Police Department"s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Unit seized the actors laptop and found "hundreds" of images on it.

TMZ added that, in addition to the photos (which featured minors under the age of 12), there were also multiple videos.

This isn"t the 33-year-old"s first brush with the law, as he settled a $2.7 million lawsuit for a sexual battery incident involving his ex-girlfriendin 2015.

Andy Murray knew nine-times French Open champion Rafael Nadal was struggling with a wrist injury when he practised with the Spaniard during the build-up to Roland Garros.

Fourth seed Nadal, who will be 30 next week, stunned the tournament on Friday when he announced he was pulling out despite dropping only nine games in his first two rounds.

He said the problem was with a tendon in his left wrist and that scans had shown he was in danger of a serious injury if he did not stop playing.

"I practised a bit with him last week and I knew there were some issues with the wrist," world number two Murray, who is through to the last 16 in Paris told Eurosport.

"He"s won this nine times and was playing really well so for him to withdraw from the tournament, it would have to be a pretty serious injury. It"s a great shame for Rafa and the fans and a shame for the tournament."

Nadal"s withdrawal was a huge blow to the tournament as he had been expected to face world number one Novak Djokovic in the semi-final, having lost to the Serb in the quarters last year.

Seven-times grand slam champion John McEnroe called Nadal"s latest injury "extremely disappointing".

"We"ve seen him play for many years and it"s always been a concern about how his knees would hold up," the American told Eurosport.

"After last year, we all hoped he would be able to get his health and fitness back and get his game together and it looked like that was happening.

"We all know how much he wanted (title) number 10 and we were looking forward to seeing play Novak in the semis."

Former French Open champion Mats Wilander said the decision had been a no-brainer for Nadal.

"A slight miss-hit and that"s going to hurt like crazy," the Swede said.

"He"s turning 30 in a few days and still has two or three years left so this was an obvious decision."

Although T.I. was not involved in the tragic club shooting at New Yorks Irving Plaza earlier this week, it might affect his money in terms of future concert gigs.

According to TMZ, the Troy Ave shooting has left promoters in Florida shook.

Apparently, Tip was scheduled to perform at a Graduation concert for high school students in South Florida on June 11. But after the New York shooting, the promoters feel that T.I. wouldnt be an appropriate music act for their show. Although the promoters have paid a $55,000 retainer fee for his performance, they now want a refund.

The promoters reportedly have sent T.I. a legal notice stating that due to the shooting, the quality of the Talents services is not satisfactory to our Client. They also said that their event has been advertised as a safe environment for the students.

In other words, they are worried that T.I.s presence would bring unwanted elements to their event and they dont want no parts of that.

We must mentioned again that T.I. was not involved in the New York shooting so this stigma they put on the Atlanta rapper is really unwarranted. However, we understand the promoters concern for the students safety.

Reps for T.I. have not responded to the promoters legal notice. However, the Grand Hustle honcho did address the tragic incident in a heartfelt Instagram post where he expressed his condolences and prayers to those affected by the shooting.

CNNreported that the Verizon strike 2016 has caused the company"s shares to be down by nearly 5 percent since it began last Apr. 13. This figure is worse than what its rivals AT&T and Comcast experienced.

The Communications Workers of America (CWA) has been excitedly proclaiming how Wall Street has dumped Verizon. It was noted that Wells Fargo has slashed its revenue estimates for the company for the second quarter and full year.

The Verizon strike 2016 is definitely having a negative impact on the carrier. Wall Street"s estimate for the firm for the second quarter has also fallen 4 percent over the past two months.

Although it may not seem like much, the decline is definitely a big deal for the company. Its executives have even agreed that the Verizon strike 2016 has hurt its performance.

According to CRN, CEO Lowell McAdam has said that the carrier"s second quarter financial results will be taking a hit due to the Verizon strike 2016. CFO Fran Shamm also noted that there would also be a "significant decline" in new customers for the FiOS services in the second quarter.

Reutersadded that the second-quarter results for the company will be available by Jul. 26. Verizon reported its first-quarter earnings last April, when the strike first hit, and revealed that the protests are expected to hurt second-quarter earnings.

"We"re doing a lot of installations but we"re not doing the same volume that we had before," McAdam said. "So we won"t be driving similar numbers in second quarter that we would in first from an installation perspective."

"I would be optimistic if I said we would be net positive for broadband and TV this quarter," Shammo added. Verizon strike 2016 participants and the carrier are still in negotiations.
