Dunkin" Donuts is celebrating National Donut Day on June 3 by handing out free donuts with a drink purchase to customers.

But that"s not all. The chain is unveiling a slew of new offers:

Enjoy anew menu item pork roll breakfast sandwich. The item isdescribed as "the perfect combination of savory pork roll, egg and American cheese on an oven toasted croissant." It is available in participating Dunkin" Donuts locations throughout New York.

New Yorkerscan enjoy a medium iced coffee for the special price of $1.99 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., through June 26.

Popular favorite Butter Pecan flavored hot and iced coffees and lattes will remain available at participating Dunkin Donuts restaurants nationwide through summer.

Dunkin Donuts has also launched a home run of a promotion to give members of its DD Perks Rewards Program a free beverage reward for purchasing Dunkin Donuts coffee to brew at home. From May 30 through June 26, each time DD Perks members buy a box of Dunkin Donuts K-Cup pods or a pound of packaged coffee, they will receive a free beverage reward, good for a free Dunkin Donuts beverage of their choice.

Who is Mohammed Ali?

I am G*d fearing man. I believe in myself, if you do not believe in you who will believe in you? I do my work without expecting favours or praises, I simply do what I do because I love it. There are those who say that I have maringo or that I am arrogant; I think people misinterpret my frank nature as arrogance; with me what you see is what you get with me. If I can help I will help but if I am unable I will tell you to your face. I am not two-faced. That helps me live a very peaceful life.

As an investigative journalist you get to cover a lot of dark and gut wrenching and even hopeless stories, how do you ensure you do not carry them home?

It all started in 2008 and at first the stories I did would haunt me long after I left work. It got so bad that I would have nightmares but I had to teach myself to separate work from my personal life or it would destroy me. These days I know where to draw the line, I know what to carry home with me and what to leave at work.

Who is at home?

My wife and children. I have been married for five years. Marriage is everything, it changes your life completely, in fact its half the religion. I am very protective of my family, I believe in respecting my familys privacy, because I am the one who has chosen this life not my wife or my children I go out of my way to protect them so they can live a normal life.

How do you deal with the threats?At first we were very scared but over time you get used to it and become hardened.

And your wife, how does she take it?

Shes very supportive of what I do. She knows that its not my story that Im telling...that its the peoples story and if it can help somebody then I should go for it. But she does get discouraged. She sometimes asks me, if you are telling them the truth and they dont want to listen, why are you doing this? She gets worried as my wife and as the mother of my children. Sometimes she wants me to do something else.

What was it like to be a dad for the first time?

Holding a baby was a new thing in my life. I was scared to hold her for more than a minute. But when you have a second baby, it gets easier. You understand more about babies and their needs.

What do you think about Valentines Day?

It is a western thing and it is childish. It is not African. Love is 24/7. Every day. Love has no specific date.

Case filed against Goa Cricket Association president

A first information report (FIR) has been filed against Goa Cricket Association (GCA) president Chetan Desai for fraud. PTI reported that the economic offences wing (EOW) of Goa Police filed the FIR, relating to fraud amounting to Rs 3.13 crore.

Reportedly, GCA life member Vilas Desai complained against Dessai, as well as the association"s secretary Vinod Phadke and treasurer Akbar Mulla, for allegedly forging signatures and opening bank accounts to siphon off money.

The police, PTI said, registered a case against the accused under sections 408, 409 (criminal breach of trust), 419 (cheating by impersonation), 463, 464, 468 (forged documents), 471 (fraud), 420 (cheating) and 120 B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code.

Fall Out Boy And Missy Elliott To Cover "Ghostbusters" Theme For Reboot

Along with the Ghostbusters themselves, Ray Parker Jr."s classic Ghostbusters theme song is getting revamped for the new movie. Confirmed via Twitter, the band Fall Out Boy will be joined by Missy Elliott to do a new rendition of the popular song.

While the full track listing hasn"t been revealed yet, confirmed artists to be appearing on the soundtrack include Walk the Moon, WolfAlice, 5 Seconds of Summer, Pentatonix, and G-Eazy ft. Jeremih.

Parker"s original Ghostbusters theme was a huge hit for the artist in the mid-80s, earning him an Academy Award nomination in 1985 and staying on top of the Billboard charts for three consecutive weeks, and has continued to be an essential piece of the Ghostbusters legacy.

The Ghostbusters soundtrack will be released by RCA alongside the movie on July 15.

Markham Tim Hortons robbed at gunpoint on National Donut Day

Friday is National Donut Day.

But the celebration of deep-fried dough coated in sugar got off to a sour start after a Tim Hortons restaurant was robbed at gunpoint in Markham.

Even York Regional Police noted the gall of the robbers, tweeting Gutsy move robbing a Tim Hortons on National Donut Day.

In a release, police said two men entered the coffee shop near Steeles Avenue East and Don Mills Road just after midnight.

They both jumped over the counter. One of the suspects assaulted a female employee and made demands for cash while the other pointed a handgun at employees, assuring their compliance.

With cash in hand, the suspects fled to an awaiting car, which was last seen speeding south on Don Mills Road.

Police believe the same two suspects also robbed a Hasty Market convenience store in Barrie earlier in the night.

In that incident the suspects demanded money from two employees before one of the employees was assaulted.

The two employees complied, although were unable to open the cash register, Barrie police said in a release. As a result the one suspect struck an employee with a gun.

• One suspectis described as a white male, six foot one, with a muscular build. He was wearing a blue hoodie, black pants and black running shoes. His face was covered with a white mask.
• The other suspect is a black male, about five foot ten with a thin build. He was armed with a handgun and was wearing a blue jacket with green sleeves and blue running shoes. His face was covered with a white scarf.
• The suspect vehicle is described as a silver Honda Civic.
