LONDONDeprived of a record-tying 22nd grand slam title in the Australian Open and French Open finals this year, Williams got to No. 22 Saturday by defeating a dogged Angelique Kerber 7-5 6-3 in a high-quality Wimbledon final.

It was the same Kerber who beat Williams in Melbourne in January but the world No. 1 turned the tables on the grass at the All England Club with a clinical display of power tennis amid windy conditions.

I have definitely had some sleepless nights with a lot of stuff, coming so close and feeling it and not being able to get there, Williams, who was also foiled in her bid to achieve a calendar-year grand slam at last years U.S. Open, told reporters.

This tournament I came in with a different mindset. In Melbourne I thought I played well but Angelique played great, and better. So I knew going into this one I needed to be calm and be confident and play the tennis Ive been playing for well over a decade.

She certainly did that.

The 34-year-old struck 39 winners. Williams only faced one break point, at 3-3 in the second, and saved it with one of her 13 aces.

Of course it feels disappointing, thats for sure, Kerber, who finished with a respectable 12 winners and nine unforced errors, told reporters. But also I know that I played a good final.

I lost against a really strong Serena today. This makes it a little bit better, that I know that she won the match, not that I lost the match, because she played very well.

Williams and Kerbers fellow German Steffi Graf now tally 22 majors, the most in the Open Era of professional tennis. Talk now will surely center on the American attempting to get to Margaret Courts 24 grand slams, the all-time record. Court was in attendance Saturday.

Williams didnt want to dwell on the next step up the ladder, especially since she endured struggles to win her 18th major tying Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova and the 22nd.

One thing I learned about last year is to enjoy the moment, said Williams. Im definitely going to enjoy this.

Her coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, sensed Williams was back to her best after they chatted on the phone following her loss to Garbine Muguruza at Roland Garros.

If Im totally honest, Im not relieved to have gotten the 22nd one, Mouratoglou told reporters. Im relieved to have found back Serena. Everything depends on that. I dont look at the reward. I look at how to achieve it and there was clearly something missing in the last eight months and the thing that was missing was Serena.

The tennis player was there but Serena as a person wasnt really herself. So she was beatable. Not to say that she was unbeatable before, but she was much more beatable.

Williams reverse to Roberta Vinci in New York shook her to such an extent that, according to the Frenchman, she has only now truly steadied.

Because so many things were underlined, the calendar slam, the 22nd, the fact that it was in New York, all those things together, this hurt her much too much and the other losses were a consequence of this one, said Mouratoglou.

We didnt realize how much time she needed to recover from the (disappointment) of the loss at the U.S. Open. It took time. Thats what I feel.

Interestingly, Williams disagreed with Mouratoglou.

I dont think it shook me, she said.

Theyll agree on liking Saturdays result, which ensured that Williams older sister Venus remains the lone player to down Serena twice in grand slam finals. Venus a loser to Kerber in the semifinals sat in the player box along with Beyonce and Jay Z. Later Saturday she combined with her sibling to capture the womens doubles crown.

Great entertainment

The first point of the womens finale whetted the appetite: After a lengthy exchange, Kerber struck a winning forehand.

Superb entertainment ensued for fans on Centre Court and the millions watching around the world as Kerber attempted to neutralize Williams potent shots.

Kerber saved three break points in her opening service game. She would often be scampering side to side in the match dealing with those Williams drives.

Williams, a great mover like Kerber, took a slight tumble at 4-4 but was unhurt. At 5-5, 15-30, two unreturnable Williams serves got her out of trouble.

Just when it looked like a tiebreak beckoned, Kerber, fatally, made two unforced errors at 5-6, 15-all, both times in commendably attempting to hit aggressive shots to do some of the dictating herself from the baseline.

On a second set point Williams forced an error to grab a crucial one-set lead: Williams has never lost a final at a major when winning the first.

The fourth seed won what was arguably the point of the contest in the fourth game of the second when she crushed a backhand from well outside the doubles alley down the line.

At 3-3, not only did Williams produce the ace on break point but she hit another ace to earn a game point. Seeing that rare chance dissipate, Kerber was broken in the next game and Williams held to love to close out the one hour, 21-minute affair.

Today when shes in trouble at 15-30, boom, boom, this is Serena, said Mouratoglou. When she needs to lift her level to close it, this is Serena. I didnt see that for eight months.

After authoring a winning volley on match point, Williams fell backward onto the grass. Williams and Kerber then exchanged a long hug to cap an enthralling battle.

I just said to her, Congrats, and that shes a champion, said Kerber.

Indeed. And not just any champion.

Brock Lesnar defeats Mark Hunt by unanimous decision

Brock Lesnar Upsets Mark Hunt (UFC 200)

Brock Lesnar, a freak athlete and NCAA champion wrestler, became the biggest drawing card in MMA when he left WWE and won theUFC heavyweight title. He now returns as a special attraction for what could be his final MMA fight as he is still under WWE contract and performs regularly as a professional wrestler. Mark Hunt is a former K1 kickboxing champion and one of the hardest strikers in the history of the sport. This is a straightforward striker vs. grappler contest. If Lesnar is able to keep the fight on the ground, it"s his. On the feet, Hunt has a huge edge.

Round 1. They circle to start, with neither man doing much at all for the first minute of the fight. Lesnar throws a leg kick as Hunt creeps closer. Lesnar ducks under a big punch from Hunt and Lesnar"s eyes are wide open. Lesnarthrows another leg kick.Lesnar stumbles off a jab. Lesnar shoots in for a takedown. Hunt grabs the fence. Lesnar dumps Hunt down. Hunt stands right back up. Lesnarkeeps hold of Hunt and looks for another takedown. Lesnar gets him down a second time. Lesnar has side control. Lesnar looks to set up a kimura but Hunt rolls out. Lesnar lands a few punches as Hunt looks to stand up. Lesnarlands a hard knee to the body. He then follows with hard punches to the head. Hunt pops up. Lesnardives back in for another takedown. He gets it and moves into mount with 15 seconds left. 10-9 Lesnar.

Round 2. Hunt moves forward on Lesnar. Lesnar briefly ducks down but decides not to shoot in. Hunt throws a looping right hand that connects a little. Both fighters are extremely cautious, wary of the other"s strengths. Lesnar shoots for a takedown but Hunt sprawls and blocks it. Lesnarshoots again and doesn"t get it again. Hunt throws a two punch combination that is mostly blocked. Lesnar goes for a takedown and again doesn"t get it. Lesnar misses a punch and staggers away, looking a little tired. Hunt lands a right hand and closes in closer on Lesnar. Hunt lands another right hand that connects a little better. He still hasn"t caught Lesnar flush. Lesnar ducks down for another takedown attempt. 10-9 Hunt.

Round 3. Lesnar backs Hunt up with a jab. Hunt lands a combination including his hardest punch thus far in the fight. Lesnar goes for a takedown and gets it 40 seconds in. Lesnar lands a series of punches on the ground. Lesnarappears close to mount but ends up in Hunt"s half guard instead. Lesnar lands a series of punches and transitions into full mount. He lands punches there and Hunt is unable to do anything. Lesnar continues to work from mount. Hunt gets him back in half guard but time is running out for the Super Samoan. Time runs out in that position. 10-8 Lesnar, 29-27 Lesnar.

Winner: Brock Lesnar, unanimous decision (29-27, 29-27, 29-27).

In his post fight interview, Lesnar gave no indication as to whether he plans to fight again. He shared a kiss with his wife, the former WWE valet Sable. Lesnardid well enough that UFC will likely be interested in bringing him back, although it"s tough to figure out an opponent. There needs to be an intriguing foe to draw money, but it"s hard to sell a title fight after that. Hunt looked lethargic and unimpressive. It appears he may have underestimated his opponent.

Lee la resea de la pelcula "The Secret Life of Pets"

周杰倫 Jay Chou 【Now You See Me】Official MV (120s)

NOW YOU SEE ME 2

Director: Jon M. Chu

Life After Death Row: A Guide to Snoop Dogg"s Post-"Doggystyle" Career

Snoop Dogg on Dallas Assassinations -- You Can"t Answer Hate with Hate

The quarter-century-long career of Calvin Broadus a.k.a. Snoop Doggy Dogg is full of contradictions. Hes a husband and father whose devotion to his family is evident in such heartwarming reality shows as Snoop Doggs Father Hood and Snoop & Son: A Dads Dream, yet who continues to make his name as a kush-puffing, big booty-snatching, West Coast-repping libertine. He routinely portrays his youthful, pre-stardom days as a weed-slanging Crip as a male rite of passage, and an everlasting source of brotherhood bound by honor and street codes. And over a two-decade-plus career, hes established himself as one of the best rappers in his genre despite only making one indisputable classic with his G-funk bible, 1993sDoggystyle. Snoop may not measure up with linguistically superior contemporaries likeIce Cube and 2Pac when it comes to lyrical bars-for-bars. But when it comes to languid vocal cadences, pure flow, Long Beach cool, and an unflappable persona, few can do it better than the Doggfather. He was quite possibly the first rapper to traffic in vibe.

In some ways, Snoops plight is similar to LL Cool Js in an earlier era: Hes ultimately a singles artist, and hes logged so many urban-radio smashes that we often take the albums containing them for granted. Perhaps Snoops artistically (and commercially) underwhelming new album,Coolaid which has received significantly less attention than, say, the euphoric G-funk nostalgia that greeted Dr. Dres Compton justifies that conclusion. But many of his past highlights including, for instance,2004s Rhythm & Gangsta are packed with so many bangers that they deserve more than their negligent reputation.

With Uncle Snoop enjoying a fresh round of attention via Coolaid and, his scheduledperformanceat the, uh, Democratic National Convention, perhaps its time we weeded (cough) out the Super Crips dense catalog and debunk the myth that the man hasnt made an essential album since Doggystyle.

Lets skip past Doggystyle, of which we all know the greatness. But dont forget about 21 Jump Street, from the Murder Was the Case soundtrack, where he and LBC homie Tray Dee spit game over a boogie bounce and a chorus lifted from Steve Arringtons 80s funk chestnut Nobody Can Be You. As for Snoops second album,Tha Doggfather, its marred by the drama surrounding his label: Dr. Dres exit at the beginning of 1996 and 2Pacs murder two months before its release in that November. Theres clear tension throughout, but it still contains bangers like the hydraulics-inducing Up Jump Tha Boogie. And just before Snoopy escaped the crumbling Death Row empire, he offered a fan-beloved, promo-only jewel in Midnight Love. His troubled and uncertain lyrics about life amidst the senseless violence that marked mid-90s gangsta rap These problems probably have a n***a gray or deceased, he raps belie the songs bluesy groove and Raphael Saadiqs buttery-smooth hook.

It may be weird to imagine now, but Master P deserves credit for virtually saving Snoops career buying out his Death Row contract and offering him refuge from the demonic Suge Knight. The first two albums Snoop recorded for New Orleans No Limit empire mostly underwhelmed, particularly when he tried to hang with his new Southern friends on odd-couple duds like Tru Tank Dogs. But they have their moments: 1998s Da Game Is to Be Sold, Not to Be Told was preceded by the buoyant car-hopper Still a G Thang. While its dismissed by some critics at the time as G-funk boilerplate, the tracks an underrated sequel to Snoop and Dr. Dres seminal 1992 smash. Another standout was the deep cut Game of Life, a gripping tale of hustling and banging alongside Oakland duo Steady Mobbn.

For B Please from 1999s No Limit Top Dogg, he reunites with Dre and resurrects his ragamuffin flow from The Chronic years; its a virtual blueprint for Dres own early-00s revival. The following yearsTha Last Meal is the best of Snoops No Limit periodand includes memorable hits like the Timbaland-helmed jitterbug Snoop Dogg (Whats My Name Pt. 2).Amidst this G-funk renaissance, Snoop formed Tha Eastsidaz with Tray Dee and Goldie Loc. Highlights from the groups two albums include Got Beef, which has a memorable sing-song chorus from Snoop (If you got beef with DPG, then holla at me, the D-O-G), and Welcome 2 Da House, where his homegirl protgs, Doggys Angels, drop flows over synthesizers and champagne glass-clinking cowbells.

You could frame this as the Neptunes era, when Snoop linked up with Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo for blasts of spidery synth lines and club-smashing drum kicks. Beautiful, from 2002s Paid tha Cost to Be da Bo$$(the title alludes to Snoops hard-earned status as a free agent), is merely a summery table-setter for 2004s Rhythm & Gangsta: The Masterpiece, which overflows with superior Neptunes-helmed hits like Lets Get Blown, Signs, and, of course, the jolting, minimalist brilliance of the huge, all-snare-and-mouth-clicks hit Drop It Like Its Hot. As a near-classic fusion of Snoops street bona fides with mid-00s pop appeal, Rhythm & Gangsta set the course for Snoops career to the present day of packing albums with a handful of radio heaters and enough West Coastin throwbacks to keep longtime fans satiated.

Equally solid is 2006sTha Blue Carpet Treatment, which doesnt include any Neptunes sure-shots but soars with Candy, a hyphy knocker with a Ladybug Mecca hook; Vato, where B-Real of Cypress Hills nasally croak takes center stage; and Imagine, where Snoop and Dre muse about their unexpected paths in life. Sexual Eruption, an inspired homage to 80s electro-funk freakiness that inspired a classic VHS-damaged video fantasy, is better than anything else on 2008s water-treading Ego Trippin, but theres also some strong album fodder like the Isley Brothers-sampling Press Play and the surprisingly sweet-natured breakup song Waste of Time.

Is Snoop the funny and wise elder at the family barbecue, or the corny middle-aged dude trying to kick it with the kids at the club? His material since 2009 has leaned both ways. That years Malice N Wonderland is a sonic tattoo parlor of leering teen bait (anyone remember the jerkin dance fad that he unsuccessfully tried to bandwagon with I Wanna Rock?); the exception is his breezy duet with The-Dream,Gangsta Luv.Doggumentary, from 2011, is a no-thrills collection of EDM and Auto-Tuned pop, although it has a smokers-in-arms duet with Willie Nelson (Superman), a halfway-decent trip-hop escapade with Gorillaz (Sumthin Like This Night), and, if you dig deep enough, a little bit of gangsta bliss (Cold Game).

His brief makeover as the Rastafarian Snoop Lion on 2013s Reincarnatedis best forgotten; his reunion with Pharrell on 2015s unremarkable Bush proves you cant go home again. But a collaborative soundtrack with Wiz Khalifa for the 2011 straight-to-Netflix comedy Mac & Devin Go To High School where the fortysomething Snoop plays a high-school jock brought Young, Wild & Free, a cheerily ephemeral ode to the stoner children of America. Much better is his 2013 project with L.A. electro-funk maestro Dm-Funk as 7 Days of Funk, and frizzy and sensuous jams like Do My Thang.

Unfortunately, the just-released Coolaid fits snugly into Snoops late-period dilemma of being adrift among trends. Theres a trap choon, a pass disco-funk number, and a duet with Jeremih. But theres also Super Crip, which has a crazy, spooked-out Just Blaze beat that should evoke vague but rightful comparisons to the canonical Deep Cover. Snoops everything-but-the-kitchen-sink approach often means his albums sound more like a grab-bag of songs than a piece of music with concepts and themes. Yet, true to his contradictory nature, its his ability to mine a bit of gold against the chaff, along with his legendary reputation as a West Coast O.G., that continues to hold our attention. Hes got plenty of hot ones hidden in plain sight, some folks just need to learn their motherf**kin names.

Correction: An earlier version of this post misidentified the release year forPaid tha Cost to Be da Bo$$; it was released in 2002, not 2003.

Edgar started the better, taking the opening round as Aldo looked tentative.

The Brazilian largely remained on the back foot, neither landing nor throwing very much, but a big right hand and a knee in the final minute of the round set the tone for the rest of the fight.

It was the first and last round Edgar would win.

Aldo picked up the pace in the second round, denying all of Edgar"s takedown attempts and keeping out of range while sporadically picking the American off.

"Ghostbusters" 2016 Trailer: Ivan Reitman Talks Details Fans Need to Know!

Ghostbusters 2016. No Review. I refuse.

Facebook/Ghostbusters

Ghostbusters originator Ivan Reitman revealed some details about the reboots trailer that merit fans attention.

Ivan Reitman was the director and producer for both movies of the original Ghostbusters franchise. While he is still part of the reboot as one of its producers, Reitman is the first to admit a problem with the first trailer. The original preview of the reboot earned the unfortunate distinction of most disliked movie trailer.

As of this writing, it has received over 900,000 dislikes on YouTube. To a certain extent, Reitman attributed the backlash to the trailers failure to do justice to the film. It failed to establish the film as a reboot and not a re-creation of the franchise.

I think we got off to a bad start. It wasnt so much that the trailer was bad or terrible. In its minute and a half, it couldnt represent what the movie actually is, Reitman told Mashable. Aside from the trailer, he also weighed in on the excessive gender debate over the movie. He cited nostalgia as the likely factor that sparked the emotions of Ghostbusters fans. Hence, their frenzy over the cast had more to do with their love for the original movies than being actual woman haters.

Anticipation for the upcoming movie soared when news of the reboot came out. However, the revelation of an all-female cast fell short of most peoples expectations. Consequently, it has been the subject of various arguments online and elsewhere.

Yet Reitman could not be happier with the reboots cast. He described them to be as unique as the original crew was. For him, the four ladies seemed to havethe same qualities that made the first cast click with audiences. Thus, Reitman urged fans to watch Ghostbusters 2016. Hes confident they will notice it as well. Moreover, hes certain it will be a satisfying experience.

As one of the originators of the original, Reitman is grateful to the fans who continue to treasure the Ghostbusters.Hence, he sympathizes with their concerns. Nonetheless, hehopes for a bit of consideration and askedpeople to keep an open mind about the reboot.

US Olympic 2016 hopefuls Gabby Douglas, Simone Biles and others try hula hooping

Olympic Gymnastics Trials | Gabby Douglas Excels On Uneven Bars

It turns out having gold medal-worthy skills on the mat or the pitch doesn"t necessarily guarantee success in all kinds of fitness skills.

That much is obvious in a new video by Glamour, who invited a pack of American female Olympic hopefuls to show off their hula hoop skills on camera.

Among the athletes in the video are gymnastsGabby Douglas and Simone Biles, who both prove themselves totally hopeless when it comes to keeping a hoop from falling.

Scroll down for video

A swing... Gymnast Simone Biles is one of several athletes to star in a new video by Glamour showing Olympic hopefuls trying to master the hula hoop

...and a miss: As do many of the athletes, Simone proves less than skilled in the task, quickly losing her hoop to the ground

Similar skills: Olympic gymnastics champion Gabby Douglas has no success at all, insisting that she must have "a defective one"

"I can hula hoop for a really long time!" Simone initially boasts before letting the hoop fly. She manages maybe three rounds with the hoop before it falls to the ground.

Onlookers off screen break into laughter, to which Simone responds by laughing and exclaiming: "Is this hula hoop broken?!"

As for Gabby, she has even less luck with her hula hoop, trying multiple times before concluding:"I have a defective one!"

After even more unsuccessful attempts, embarrassed Gabby exclaims in exasperation: "Oh my gosh... why?!"

"Isn"t this like a really good ab exercise or something?" Paralympian Jessica Long shows herself to be a bit of a rookie on the hoop

Defeated: Olympic champion Kayla Harrison seems annoyed with her own unsuccessful attempts, saying "I"m a judo player! I should be good with my hips!"

Not so much: Kayla Banwarth lets out a loud squeal as she fails to keep the orange hoop circling around

Having a laugh: Kristin Armstrong tries her best to keep the hoop above her hips but eventually loses it to the ground

Simone and Gabby are joined by plenty of their fellow Rio 2016 hopefuls, including Jessica Long, a Paralympic swimmer, who remarks to the filmmakers:"Isn"t this like a really good ab exercise or something?" before similarly failing at the task.

"I"m competitive so I have to do it for a long time," says another Olympian Kayla Harrison, who also becomes shocked that she isn"t any good at working the hoop. "I"m a judo player! I should be good with my hips!"

Volleyball player Kayla Banwarth lets out a squeal as she drops her hoop, while sprinter Allyson Felix gives an honest try, dropping to bended knees to try and keep her hoop from falling.

BMX pro Alise Post, swimmer Maya DiRado and diver Abby Johnston all barely get the hoop around their hips once before losing the rhythm, while shooter Kim Rhode takes a different route by swinging the hoops around her arms.

A different idea: Kim Rhode takes a different route by swinging her hoops over her arms

Some success: Swimmer Natalie Coughlin and wrestler Adeline Gray show that not all athletes are failures at the hoop

Keeping it up: Hurdler Dawn Harper Nelson displays her skills and claims that "for me, it"s nothing"

Showing how it"s done: RunnerAlysia Montano claims she could hoop "literally... all day"

Not every athlete is a total failure at the task, however. Swimmer Natalie Coughlin manages to work up an impressive rhythm, eventually asking the filmmakers if they want her to keep going.

Wrestler Adeline Grey also manages to hoop her way to a big smile and an exclamation of "Yay!" to the camera.

"For me, it"s nothing," says hurdler Dawn Harper Nelson as she keeps her hoop going seemingly with ease. "Skills. Skills."

Similarly successful is Alysia Montano, who extends her arms with a confident gesture as she hoops away. "Literally....all day!" she says.
