Whats it like outside? Happy Bastille Day! The humidity climbs today as temps sit in the 80s. Expect thunderstorms this afternoon into tonight, with a lot of rain and strong winds.

While you were sleeping: Eight people, including children, have died in a fire at an orphanage near the coastal city of Durban in South Africa. Another four people were injured ... Human Rights Watch released a report this morning that says about 25 percent of children in Afghanistan aged 5 to 14 work for a living, and the government is failing to protect them from injury or death ... Road rage among young men is out of control in the US, according to survey released this morning by the AAA Foundation, and its leading to more deaths on the road. Close to 80 percent of drivers admitted to episodes of anger or aggression during the past year, while about 8 million drivers had road rage -- deliberately bumping or ramming another vehicle or getting out of their car to confront another driver. They need an estrogen diet.

In the sporting world: Golfs British Open starts today at Royal Troon in Scotland, and Australian Jason Day, ranked No. 1 in the world, is co-favorite to win along with U.S. Open champion Dustin Johnson. Day said he popped something in his rib area on a swing during practice yesterday, but likened it to cracking your knuckles and said he was fine. Oddsmakers are taking oxygen. (1:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. to midnight EDT, the Golf Channel.)

Do any of the Supremes like football? We may find out today if Patriots QB Tom Brady and his pricey legal team will continue to fight his four-game suspension in the courts. His only choices are to ask the US Supreme Court for a hearing, or to give up. If he goes forward, h**l likely ask the courts to delay his suspension, which is tricky; if he doesnt get a hearing, he could end up missing the last four games of the season instead of the first four. BTW, the only football fan on the high court is Justice Clarence Thomas, a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan.

Tom Terrific could do something else: Sue the NFL for defamation.

Your tax dollars not at work: The UMass trustees meet in Worcester today and it looks like theyre going to raise tuition and fees again, this time by about 5 percent, because the state Legislature didnt budget enough money to cover the systems costs.

Rules are meant to be broken. At least thats what the anti-Trump forces believe. The candidate might want to disguise Chris Christie as a potted plant to spy on the 112 GOP delegates who make up the conventions Rules Committee, which is meeting today. Some of them are pushing for changes that would make it more difficult for Trump to win enough delegates to claim the nomination. They call themselves the Free the Delegates movement, and claim they have tremendous momentum.

This is not a Mickey Mouse effort: First he addressed mourners at the funeral for five Dallas police officers, then held a conversation with law enforcement, activists, and academics at the White House. Today President Obama will continue his laser focus on race and criminal justice by holding a town hall event on primetime TV at 8 p.m. All of the Disney-owned broadcast and digital properties, as well as other outlets, will carry it: ABC, ESPN, ABC News Digital, Freeform Digital, the WATCH ABC app, the WatchESPN app, Yahoo, and ABC Radio.

Closing arguments in fourth Freddy Gray trial: This time its the highest-ranking Baltimore officer on the scene when Gray died from a spinal injury sustained while in police custody. Lt. Brian Rice is charged with manslaughter, reckless endangerment, and misconduct. Prosecutors are 0-for-3 so far in their attempt to convict the cops involved.

Misc.: Georgia is scheduled to conduct its sixth execution of the year this evening, killing a man who killed his friend after a night of drinking and smoking marijuana. His lawyers say he shouldnt be executed because hes intellectually disabled ... Gay activists in Israel wont hold their pride march in Beersheba today after the countrys Supreme Court rerouted the walk away from the main thoroughfare because of threats of violence. Last year, an ultra-Orthodox Jew fatally stabbed a teenage girl at a gay pride match in Jerusalem.

Finally, the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards nominations will be revealed at 11:30 ET this morning. Anthony Anderson of Black-ish and Lauren Graham, best known for Gilmore Girls, will make the announcements. Will Television Academy voters go for sentiment (The Good Wife and Downton Abbey, both of which ended this year), perennial favorites (Game of Thrones, House of Cards, Homeland), or something new (Mr. Robot, Master of None, Transparent)?

PBS

Michelle Dockery played Mary Crawley for the six seasons of Downton Abbey.

Anonymous "Day of Rage" Protests

Baton Rouge Braces For Possible Day Of Rage - The Kelly File

Early July 2016 saw a week of high-profile shootings involving police the United States: On 5 July 2016, Alton Sterling was shot and killed by police officers in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; the following day, Philando Castile was shot and killed by police during a traffic stop in Minnesota; and the day after that a sniper shot and killed five police officers during a Black Lives Matter protest in Dallas.

Soon afterwards, a rumor began circulating that the hacktivist group Anonymous was now calling for a nationwide Day of Rage protests on 15 July 2016 as a response to those incidents:

Theres a war in America right now. Black vs. white. Citizen vs. police officer. Race grievances have become an industry, and business is booming.

The rage is boiling over across the nation. First, videos emerged that showed the graphic deaths of two black men at the hands of police, with what appears (at least on the videos) to be no reason. Protests erupted over these deaths, and then they became violent as one man shot 11 police officers and 2 citizens at a rally in Dallas, Texas, killing 5. That sparked a war on law enforcement officers and a nationwide spree of violence against cops. Some people are even more extreme, declaring open season on white people in general.

But its about to get even worse.

The hacktivist group claiming to be Anonymous is now calling for nationwide Day of Rage protests on Friday, July 15th. This video is NOT on the official Anonymous YouTube channel. The video below promotes the protests.(WARNING: There is some disturbing and graphic violence in this video.)

To those inclined to question the likelihood that an actual "Day of Rage" is being planned by Anonymous, we note that this rumor is virtually identical to one that was circulated two years earlier after the shooting of teenager Mike Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. As we pointed out back then, one of the key aspects of Anonymous is its amorphous nature and overall lack of central organization; as such, anyone can initiate an Anonymous "operation," and none is ever officially sanctioned by any particular portion of the collective:

The call to demonstrate back in August 2014 was said to be a response to the ongoing protests and unrest in Ferguson, with one Twitter account, @OpFerguson, live-tweeting events and calls to action relating to the controversy. Often, actions linked to Anonymous are codenamed with a hashtag and given an "operation" title to organize activity for those who support the group and its initiatives. While the loose organizational structure of Anonymous actions allows for a level of unpredictability, the @OpFerguson Twitter account had more than 28,000 followers and appeared to be a larger and more cohesive mouthpiece for Anonymous operatives supporting Ferguson protests. The rumors of a "Day of Rage" of August 2014 were circulated for quite a while in advance of that date, and the @OpFerguson Twitter account denied any involvement in planning or calling for such an action several days beforehand:

In addition to the @OpFerguson account, the larger and more "official" account @YourAnonNews made no mention of nationwide "Day of Rage" protest calls to action. However, the Twitter feed of @YourAnonNews posted the following tweet on 20 August 2014:

As in 2016, versions of e-mails and social media posts warning Americans about potential "Day of Rage" protests or unrest in 2014 were linked to posts isting the following locations and scheduling information:

Snubs and Surprises at the 2016 Emmy Nominations

The Talk - ‘The Talk’ Hosts Announce the "43rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" Nominations - Part 3

The 68th Emmy nominations are in and while some actors and actresses rejoiced as they were acknowledged for their work this year, some didn"t get the nod they may have been expected.

"House of Cards," "Game of Thrones" and The People v. O. J. Simpson" all had a strong morning, but incumbents like "The Good Wife" and "Orange is the New Black" didn"t get their usual number of nods. Also, Kit Harington finally earned his first nod for "Thrones"!

Heres our list of snubs and surprises:

"Orange is the New Black"

"Entertainment Tonight" senior writer Leanne Aguilera said it best.

Year after year, "Orange" has dominated at the Emmys with wins for stars like Uzo Aduba and others. But this year, the women of Litchfield were left off the list for their season 3 work. Season 4 missed the cut, coming out after the May 31 deadline.

"The Americans"

A big surprise that had fans and critics saying "about time" was all the nominations for "The Americans."

Both Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell earned nods as leads of the show, while the series itself got a nom for Outstanding Drama Series.

"Billions" and Damian Lewis

"Homeland" alum and multiple Emmy nominee, Damian Lewis, didn"t get a nod this year for his new Showtime series "Billions." Paul Giamatti and Malin Akerman also won"t be accepting a trophy this year.

"The Good Wife"

Julianna Marguiles was shut out for her final season on the acclaimed "Good Wife," while the show also didn"t earn a nod for Outstanding Drama Series. It"s especially surprising since she won the award just two years ago.

Aziz Ansari, Rami Malek and Kit Harington

Considered underdogs on two very good shows, both Ansari and Malek earned nods for "Master of None" and "Mr. Robot," respectively. Fans are overjoyed.

"Mr. Robot" also earned a nod for Outstanding Drama Series, with season 2 of the USA show having come back earlier this week!

Also shocking for some: Kit Harington earned his first nod for "Game of Thrones." Winter may be coming, and Snow might be taking home an Emmy.

"Scandal" and "Grey"s Anatomy"

While Kerry Washington earned a nod for "Confirmation," she did not get one for her leading role on Shonda Rhimes" acclaimed hit "Scandal." In fact, "Grey"s Anatomy" also didn"t earn many nods, but Viola Davis returned as a strong contender to win for How To Get Away With Murder.

"UnReal"

Fan favorite "UnReal" picked up a nod, with Constance Zimmer and others making the cut for Outstanding Supporting Actress for the Lifetime show.

The show tweeted out an ecstatic message, "The #Emmys have answered!!!!! Congrats to @ConstanceZimmer, @GertShap & @martinoxon on their Emmy noms! #UnREALtv."

The 68th annual Primetime Emmy Awards will take place Sept. 18 on ABC.

Hemlock Grove-acteur Bill Skarsgrd speelt clown in remake It

Eerder zou The Revenant-acteur Will Poulter de rol van Pennywise gaan invullen.

Lindsey Vonn Is Very, Very Competitive - CONAN on TBS
Is ANYONE going to the 2016 Olympics? Athletes like Rory McIlroy and LeBron James have dropped out of the games to avoidcatching the Zika virus. Now, Lindsey Vonn says she wont go to Rio because shes too afraidof the disease!

At this point, someonecan count on two hands the number of star athletes skipping the 2016 Olympics Gamesover Zika.LeBron James, 31, isnt going. Neither is Jason Day, 28. Well, itstime to add another one.Lindsey Vonn, 31, has cancelled her flight to Brazil and unpacked her bags, saying shed rather stay in the U.S!

I was going to [go,] but I think with the Zika and everything, its probably just better that I watch from home, Lindsey admitted toPEOPLEmagazine on July 12 while attending Under Armours debut of its UA Crossback Bra. In fact, if the Winter Olympics were taking place in Brazil, Lindsey (a gold medal winning skier) said shed consider sitting them out. Im not sure, honestly, what I would decide.

US Athletes At The Rio Olympics See Pics Of These Sports Stars

I think I would still go, but that would definitely be in the back of my mind throughout the entire two weeks of the games, Lindsey said. Its definitely tough for the athletes, for sure. Lindsey also said that some people are [nervous,] some people arent. Definitely some sports are more at risk than others, but for the most part, all the Olympians are pretty excited about Rio despite everything.

Well, not every Olympian. Rory McIlroy, 27, the PGA Championship-winning golfer, has said that hes not going to competein the Rio games. After speaking with those closest to me, Ive come to realize that my health and my familys health comes before anything else, he said.

LeBron told his teammates that hes not likely going, according to USA Today.EvenNBCs Savannah Guthrie, 44, is avoidingBrazil. Since the Zika virus has been linked to severe birth defects, the pregnant TODAY co-host is not going to risk her babys health.

Lindsey Vonn & Tiger Woods: See Pics Of Their Former Romance
