Who is Marina Joyce and why do people think she"s been kidnapped?

LA YOUTUBER MARINA JOYCE POSIBLEMENTE SECUESTRADA!?? - #SaveMarinaJoyce

A bizarre conspiracy theory took over social media this week, as thousands of amateur sleuths tried to get to the bottom of what was going on with British vlogger Marina Joyce.

The hashtag #SaveMariaJoyce became a top trending topic on Twitter in both Britain and the US, as thousands of internet users scoured her online videos for evidence that the teenager was in peril.

Ms. Joyce runs a YouTube channel with approximately 750,000 followers, where she predominantly uploads videos about fashion and beauty.

However, some viewers became suspicious when she posted a message on Twitter inviting followers to meet her at 6.30am for an early morningparty.

Lena Dunham: Elect Hillary Clinton Because She Thinks Abortion Should be a Human Right

Lena Dunham on Showing Skin

During last nights Democratic convention, abortion activists ad Planned Parenthood spokeswoman Lena Dunham applauded pro-abortion Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton for saying abortion should be a human right.

Dunham, of course, was careful to couch that notion in the typical pro-abortion womens rights phraseology which makes her declaration worse. Not only does Dunham (and Clinton) think snuffing out the life of an unborn child is a part of womens rights, they think it is a human right as well. nevertheless, Dunham lauded Hillary for coming to the conclusion that abortion is a human right 22 years ago and she told Democrats in Philadelphia that was a marquee reason to elect her president.

Heres what Duham said and a video clip of her pro-abortion remarks:

Lena: Im a pro-choice, feminist, sexual assault survivor with a chronic reproductive illness. Donald and his party think I should be punished for exercising my constitutional rights, and his rhetoric about women takes us back to a time when we were meant to be beautiful and silent. Meanwhile, 22 years ago, Hillary declared that womens rights are human rights. And she made it possible for my fellow sexual assault survivors in my home state of New York to have access to safe, immediate care in any emergency room. Hillary knows that access and opportunity are the American promise not transphobia, Islamophobia, xenophobia, and systemic racism. She knows that hatred of all kinds is ours collectively to change, not to ignite for the craven purpose of seeking power.

Clinton has repeatedly said unborn children have no Constitutional rights.

Lena Dunham and America Ferrera Slam Donald Trump at the DNC

Lena Dunham on Her Wedding

Day 2 of the Democratic National Convention came with a powerful speech from Lena Dunham and America Ferrera, who shared the stage to very pointedly denounce Trump"s hate speech last night.

"Hi. I"m Lena Dunham, and according to Donald Trump, my body is probably, like, a 2."

"And I"m America Ferrera, and according to Donald Trump, I"m probably a rapist."

"But America, you"re not Mexican," Dunham remarked.

"And President Obama isn"t Kenyan, Lena, but that doesn"t stop Donald," Ferrera said.

"We know what you"re all thinking," Dunham said. "Why should you care what some television celebrity has to say about politics?"

"And we feel the same way," Ferrera continued. "But he is the Republican nominee so we need to talk about it."

The duo went on to address the ideals that Clinton embodies, and how Trump has spoken out against immigrants, pro-choice advocates, women, and other communities in the course of his campaign.

"Look," America said, "Donald"s not making America great again. He"s making America hate again. And the vast majority of us, we cannot afford to see his vision of America come to be."

New Double Dog App Brings Truth-or-Dare Film Nerve to Life ...

Nerve Official Trailer #1 (2016) Emma Roberts, Dave Franco Thriller Movie HD

Are you a watcher or a player?

Dave Franco and Emma Roberts" new film Nerve centered around an online game of truth or dare that starts innocent but turns sinister is coming to life right before your eyes with the Double Dog app.

Double Dog, which launched Tuesday, is a real-life game that allows users to send and receive dares from the community around them, and potentially earn money after posting a video of the completed dare.

First, users can start by daring each other to do literally anything their hearts desire (within safe boundaries, of course). If the person who opens the dare decides not to do it, he or she can then "double dog" the sender for twice the value.

While many of the dares Franco and Roberts are challenged to complete are, well, extremely life threatening, founders Rodrigo Carvalho, Theodore Dasher and Austin Arnold have implemented several safety systems in order to make sure the dares dont put users" lives in danger.

"One way we keep the app safe is through the system we have in place, which we call a total equilibrium dare system," Carvalho says of the app, explaining that the person who initiated the dare is required to pay three times the amount of the original dare if he or she chickens out on the "double dog" dare. The site also allows users to flag and report any inappropriate behavior.

"People should never send dares that are too risky for themselves to do because otherwise they have to pay three times, so it keeps things pretty safe," adds Dasher.

"If [users] want, they can share the video, too, so they can get likes and comments. They can also follow one another, they can chat inside the app," says Carvalho.

In one case, one user also scored some serious cash while also promoting the app permanently.

"This guy got a Double Dog tattoo on his torso for $2,000," laughs Carvalho.

Miss Cleo, famed TV psychic, dies of cancer at 53

Miss Cleo Dies At 53

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. --

The actress who became famous playing the Jamaican psychic Miss Cleo, claiming to know callers" futures in ubiquitous TV infomercials and commercials 15 years ago, has died of cancer.

Youree Dell Harris, 53, died Tuesday in Palm Beach, her lawyer, William J. Cone Jr., said.

The Los Angeles-born Harris was a struggling actress when the Psychic Readers Network hired her in the late 1990s to play Miss Cleo. She adopted her family"s Jamaican heritage for the role, persuading viewers to call for allegedly free psychic readings.

In one commercial, she is seen poring over tarot cards before telling a caller that the father of her baby is the "one who is very unpleasant and had another girlfriend while he was sleeping with you...but you knew that." The commercials ended with the tagline, "Call me now!"

The federal government said those "free" calls cost consumers about $1 billion. The Federal Trade Commission said the psychic service promised a free reading, but consumers calling a toll-free number were directed to a 900 number charging $4.99 per minute. The agency said nearly 6 million people made such calls and were charged an average of about $60 apiece.

The Psychic Readers Network"s parent company forgave $500 million in customer charges in a 2002 settlement.

After the settlement, Harris mostly faded from view for over a decade. She voiced a character in the "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" video game and was an advocate for gay rights after coming out as a lesbian.

Harris returned to the public eye in 2014 when she appeared in the documentary "Hotline," which looked at the world of telephone psychics, phone s*x workers and suicide prevention specialists.

Tony Shaff, the film"s producer, said he found her to be "warm and welcoming and bigger than life."

"She was smart as a whip and very intuitive," Shaff said. "There was so much negativity surrounding psychic hotlines that she wanted to tell her personal story." He said she understood that some consumers felt they were swindled, "but she was being paid to do a job."

He said Harris claimed to have paranormal abilities, but didn"t like to be called a psychic or tarot reader because she felt her powers were much broader than that.

Harris briefly reprised the Miss Cleo character last year in a series of online advertisements for General Mills, which was bringing back its French Toast Crunch cereal. The ads stopped after the Psychic Readers Network sued, saying it owned the character.

Hillary Clinton burst through Alicia Keys" Democratic convention performance

At the very end of the Democratic National Convention Tuesday, Hillary Clinton made a surprise experience during the end of Alicia Keys" performance.

Following a long day including the official roll call nomination of Clinton and speeches praising Clinton"s capacity for leadership, Keys took the stage with a backing band to play a medley of songs including "Superman" and "Girl on Fire."

As Keys dramatically played drums, the screens behind her lit up in digital frames featuring all the former presidents before the cracking sound of glass was heard and the screen appeared to shatter to reveal Clinton, via satellite from New York.

Don"t worry, it was only a video effect.

It was a reference to the glass ceiling of the presidency that Clinton considers herself very close to breaking, having become the first woman ever nominated as the presidential candidate for a major American political party.

While Donald Trump made his presence known all four nights of the Republican National Convention, it looks like Clinton couldn"t restrain herself either, and didn"t want to wait for her speech Thursday night.
