Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Instagram fight: Here"s what happened between the ex-couple

Justin Bieber And Selena Gomez FIGHTING!?! Cheating With ZAYN MALIK?

Singer Justin Bieber, who earlier threatened to make his Instagram account private, has now deleted the social media account amid the social media drama with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Bieber has been receiving hate messages on Instagram after he posted a photo with his new flame Sofia Richie. Following the hate messages, Bieber took to the social media platform to warn his fans and said he would make his account private.

"I"m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don"t stop the hate, this is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn"t be so mean to people that I like," he said.

His post prompted his ex-girlfriend Gomez to leave a comment, which read: "If you can"t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol it should be special between you two only. Don"t be mad at your fans. They love you."

But this did not stop there and the nasty war of words between the ex-couple continued. Bieber replied saying that Gomez is using him for publicity. "It"s funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love. I"m not one for anyone receiving hate. Hope u all can be kind to my friends and each other. And yes I love my beliebers," he posted on Instagram.

The blame game continued when Gomez said that Bieber cheated on her multiple times. "Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love."

To that Bieber replied, "I cheated ... Oh I forgot about You and Zayn?"

Bieber"s comment might have silenced the war of words between him and Gomez, but the singer disappointed several fans after deleting his Instagram page, which had 77.8 million followers.

Hailey Baldwin Is "Super Upset" After Justin Bieber Unfollows Her On Social Media, Did Sofia Richie Make Him Do It?

In the Bag of Hailey Baldwin | Episode 3 | British Vogue

Hailey Baldwin has a bone to pick with Justin Bieber after the 22-year-old singer reportedly unfollowed her on all of his social media accounts.

According to a new report, the singers new romance with 17-year-old Sofia Richie, the younger sister of reality star turned designer Nicole Richie, may be getting in the way of his on-and-off romance with the 19-year-old model.

Justin unfollowed [Hailey Baldwin] on social media, and now all their friends are talking s on Sofia and him and how messed up it is, a source told People Magazine on August 15.

People Magazine (@people) August 15, 2016

While Hailey Baldwin and the singer were never officially a couple, their close circle of friends knew they were together and feel that his younger girlfriend may have forced him to unfollow Baldwin due to their past relationship.

Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber have been linked to one another since 2015 but stopped talking to one another for months after Baldwin stepped out with Drake after his Memorial Day party in May. Earlier that month, the on-again, off-again couple were spotted together in New York City, but weeks later, the singer surfaced with Nicola Peltz during a dinner date in Beverly Hills, and days later, Baldwin surfaced with Drake.

Bieber wasnt happy about it, and so they havent really been in touch in a bit, the source explained. But out of nowhere, Sofia apparently made him unfollow [Hailey Baldwin] and now she and her friends are all super upset.

As Hailey Baldwin reportedly deals with her own personal drama with the singer, she was believed to have commented on his feud with Selena Gomez, who accused him of cheating on her multiple times over the weekend, with an elaborate post on Instagram, which she later deleted.

Weve all had our fair share of things weve done, both good and bad. What makes the present so powerful is when we take complete responsibility for our actions, we allow ourselves self-growth, Hailey Baldwins message read, according to a report by Hollywood Life on August 15. Misplacing the blame onto someone else isnt going to get you to the next stage in life. so try not to manipulate a situation to make yourself look better.

The truth always comes to life, so its better just to own it, the message continued. Were all guilty of things, but show people you have enough love and respect for yourself to be honest about it and learn from it.

After Hailey Baldwins post was shared, the model was said to be Team Selena as she allegedly called out Bieber for being unfaithful, but in a tweet to fans later that day, she denied having anything to do with the drama taking place between others.

In the message, Hailey Baldwin told fans, The only thing I weigh in on is everyday life in general. Dont rope me into things Im not a part of and please respect my privacy.

Following her split from the singer earlier this year, Hailey Baldwin has been focused on her career in modeling and her friends, including Kendall and Kylie Jenner. In fact, just days ago, Hailey Baldwin enjoyed a tropical vacation in Turks and Caicos in celebration of Kylie Jenners 19th birthday. On the island, the girls frequently shared photos and videos of one another, along with fellow model Bella Hadid, enjoying their mega mansion on the beach.

Oregon"s Devon Allen advances to semifinals in 110-meter hurdles

Devon Allen makes his Olympic debut ronight

USA TODAY Sports" Rachel Axon tells you five things to watch for during Day 11 of the Olympics.

RIO DE JANEIRO Devon Allen tied for first in his heat to advance with time to spare into the semifinals of the men"s 110-meter hurdles, delaying for at least one more day a return to his role as a wide receiver at the University of Oregon.

It shouldn"t have come as a surprise. After all, with the track still sloppy and wet after a downpour delayed competition at Olympic stadium, Allen might have been the only racer to know what it takes to excel in the rain.

I definitely think I trained or played the most in the rain of everybody, he said.

Its my first Olympic Games. Im a young kid getting ready to run my first race in history. My adrenaline was up there.

Since Allen took a little bit of Oregon with him to Rio, the least he could do was show his appreciation: Allen sent a message to his teammates back home while standing in the blocks before the race, an inside joke, he said, involving a series of motions and hand gestures.

Hopefully they got it.

He expected that his coaches and teammates would be gathered in the luxurious team meeting room inside Oregons football facility, watching Allen (with a time of 13.41 seconds) cruise through his heat in the first race of his Olympic career.

Allen had heard from all of his coaches and about 50 of his teammates, he said, all wishing him luck here at the Summer Games despite the fact that each strong race means at least one more day away from the program. After struggling last season while recovering from a knee injury, Allen was viewed as a crucial piece of the Ducks offense.

It means a lot, he said. Im trying to do something special here. Those guys are trying to do something special there as well.

Allen is strongly considering pursuing a professional track career while maintaining his final two seasons of college eligibility.

Right now Im considering doing both, he said last week. Thats something very possible for me in the future. So Im kind of just taking it in stride and seeing where it goes.

Oregons compliance departmentoutlined a path toward competing in both events: Allen would retain his collegiate eligibility as long as he didnt sign a track endorsement contract.

Its kind of the same thing with baseball players that come back and play football. Theyre professional in one sport and amateur in another. I can compete in all the meets I want to professionally, if I want.

ADHD in classroom is struggle for teachers, students

Classroom Rules

MIAMI Hudson Dunn has always been an active boy.

His daycare teachers called him demanding and independent. In preschool, he preferred singing and daydreaming to learning the ABCs. By the time he was in kindergarten in Broward County, Hudson was banned from class field trips unless his mother came along to keep track of him. He often came home crying.

It created an environment in the classroom where he was labeled a bad kid, said his mom, Jenine Dunn.

Hudson has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, or ADHD one of the most commonly diagnosed mental health disorders in children. The Centers for Disease Control estimates 11 percent of American kids have ADHD.

The list of symptoms for kids who have ADHD reads like a recipe for problems in school: trouble paying attention and completing tasks. Being fidgety, talkative and impulsive. Difficulty following rules, making friends and keeping track of things - like homework or class materials.

Increasing academic demands have only made it harder for kids with ADHD, argues Dr. Jeffrey Brosco, professor of clinical pediatrics at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. With kids spending more time preparing for standardized tests and less time playing at recess, Brosco says the rate of ADHD in children has doubled since the 1970s.

Emily Michot

Weve increased the academic demands, but weve also reduced our demands for allowing children to figure out how to spend their time, Brosco said. Young children learn best by play and by creative kinds of pursuits, and not just practice with reading, writing and arithmetic.

Take, for example, the amount of time that kids spend doing homework. In a paper published in February in JAMA Pediatrics, Brosco and co-author Anna Bona point out that elementary-aged kids in 1997 spent more than two hours on homework, compared with kids in the 1980s who spent less than an hour.

Dunn said the academic rigor of kindergarten definitely contributed to the difficulties her son, Hudson, faced in school. Whereas she remembers hatching eggs and making maple syrup in kindergarten, Dunns son was expected to fill out worksheets and write book reports.

Theres very little free time for imagination. They want these kids in kindergarten sitting at a desk for seven hours a day, she said. It creates an incredible amount of stress.

There could be other causes for increasing ADHD rates. Dr. William Pelham is a world-renowned ADHD researcher at Florida International University. He credits two major developments with boosting the number of diagnoses: One, recognition by the federal government in 1991 that children with ADHD are entitled to special education services in school. Second, the development and marketing of new pharmaceutical drugs in the 2000s.

Whatever the cause, Pelham has focused on effective treatments over his decades-long career. Every summer, Pelham, who leads FIUs Center for Children and Families, runs a summer camp for children with ADHD at Paul W. Bell Middle near Sweetwater, Fla.

There are all the activities youd expect from a summer camp, like basketball and silly songs. But theres also a classroom component with a heavy dose of behavior therapy, where theres a consequence for every action good or bad.

The therapy is on display in Herbert McArthur, Jr.s class. During the school year, hes a Miami-Dade high school teacher. In the summertime, he teaches a roomful of younger students who have ADHD.

He weaves between their desks, offering nonstop praise.

I like the way youre raising your hand without calling out, he tells one.

Thank you for using your materials appropriately, he says to another.

It comes every 30 seconds or so, a pleasant reminder for every tiny thing done right. Because for McArthurs students, every moment spent sitting in class and following the rules is a monumental achievement.

Implementing behavior modification strategies in the classroom takes time - time that teachers dont often feel like they have. A recent survey by the American Federation of Teachers found that being pressed for time was a leading cause of stress among teachers.

Every moment spent fixing bad behavior, praising good behavior or redirecting a student to the task at hand is a moment of teaching that is lost.

The bell-to-bell instruction, it doesnt allow for the extra pat on the back, said McArthur, the summer camp teacher. Youre looking at the clock.

Pelham and his team focus on behavior modification because, he says, it works. Combined with parent training, Pelham has found that starting with behavior-based treatment rather than medication is more effective and costs less. His findings, released in February, led the CDC to change the recommended course of treatment for children with ADHD.

Still, children in Florida are far more likely to receive medicine over therapy. In a 2010 CDC survey, more than 70 percent of kids had taken medication in the past week, while only half had received behavior therapy in the past year.

The problem is that there is no pharmaceutical company for better classroom management practices. There is no pharmaceutical company for better parenting programs. So you dont have gigantic industries helping parents and helping teachers, Pelham said.

Ava Goldman, a director for Miami-Dades Exceptional Student Education, said the school district works with Pelham to train teachers to work with students who have ADHD. The district and Pelham also recently collaborated to revamp the accepted classroom accommodations students with ADHD can receive.

Several people abducted from upscale restaurant in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

México: Secuestro masivo en un restaurante de Puerto Vallarta

Armed men abducted 10 to 12 presumed members of a crime gang who appeared to be celebrating at an upscale restaurant in the popular Mexican beach resort city of Puerto Vallarta, authorities said Monday.

Jalisco state prosecutor Eduardo Almaguer said at a news conference that preliminary results of the investigation indicated that all involved - kidnappers and kidnapped - were members of criminal organizations.

They were not tourists or residents who work in legal activities, Almaguer said. They were people tied to a criminal group we can very clearly presume.

He said authorities believe they know which groups were involved, but declined to name them.

The Jalisco New Generation cartel has become the dominant criminal force in the state. It has battled the powerful Sinaloa cartel for supremacy in other parts of the country, such as Baja California Sur.

Two SUVs carrying five gunmen arrived around 1 a.m. at the La Leche restaurant on the citys main boulevard, which runs through the hotel zone between the old beach city and the airport, Almaguer said.

Witnesses reported that four women in the targeted group were not taken by the gunmen, he said. He said authorities were looking for those women.

All of those abducted were from the western states of Sinaloa, Nayarit and Jalisco, Almaguer said.

He said some of those taken away had been vacationing in Puerto Vallarta for a week. Authorities found lots of drinks and luxury items inside the restaurant, he said.

Five vehicles were abandoned at the restaurant, among them one with Jalisco license plates, but a false registration, the prosecutor said.

Obviously, those who acted (the kidnappers) - we presume with the information we have - also belonged to a criminal group that acted against members of another criminal group they located here in Puerto Vallarta, Almaguer said.

Jalisco Gov. Aristoteles Sandoval said through his official Twitter account that such violence would not be tolerated and a search was underway for the victims and the kidnappers.

To the residents and tourists of Puerto Vallarta, I inform you that we have reinforced security so that you can go on as usual, Sandoval wrote.
