Three reasons the Tampa Bay Lightning will win Game 7

Pittsburgh Penguins vs Tampa Bay Lightning. 2016 NHL Playoffs. ECF. Game 6. 05.24.2016. (HD)

TAMPA -- So it comes down to Game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals to determine whether the Pittsburgh Penguins or the Tampa Bay Lightning will advance to the Stanley Cup finals to play either the San Jose Sharks or the St. Louis Blues. The Lightning-Penguins series moves back to Pittsburgh for the final showdown on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET at Consol Energy Center.

My esteemed colleague Scott Burnside will try to convince you that the Penguins will win and advance to the finals, and while I might agree (I picked the Penguins to win in seven games at the start of the series), here are three reasons the Lightning can win Game 7:

Been there, done that: We"realready three-quarters of the way toward history repeating itself. The Lightning lost on home ice in Game 6 of last year"s Eastern Conference finals, to the New York Rangers, but then rebounded with a 2-0 win in Game 7 at Madison Square Garden to advance to the Stanley Cup finals. This year Tampa Bay dropped Game 6 at Amalie Arena 5-2 to the Penguins and now must win on the road again to earn a second consecutive trip to the finals. Lightning coach Jon Cooper has used the word "resiliency" numerous times throughout the playoffs. You can count on him to employ it again in the next 38 hours.

"It"s tough," Lightning forward Ryan Callahansaidof losing Game 6."Any time you miss an opportunity like this, it"s disappointing. Our first 40 minutes wasn"t where it needed to be. We had a good third but obviously too little too late and there"s nothing we can do about it now. We move on, we get past it, forget about this game and go play one game for a chance to advance."

Callahan is convinced the Lightning can shake off the loss and focus on Game 7.

"I know we can," he said. "I"ve got confidence in this group. We believe in here that we can do that. We"ve had success on the road in the playoffs. We"ve had success in their building already. So it"s going to be a good one."

Tampa Bay won Game 1 on the road and finished off the Penguins in overtime 4-3 in Game 5 at Consol Energy Center. There"s no reason to think they can"t do it again in Game 7.

Could the captain make a comeback? With their season on the brink, perhaps the Lightning will get a charge if captain Steven Stamkosreturns to the lineup for Game 7.

Stamkos hasn"t played in a game since having surgery to remove a blood clot near his collarbone on April 4. He has been practicing with the team and says he"s back in game shape. But he must get off the blood thinners he"s been taking and wait close to 24 hours before taking contact. If he were to stop the medication, say Wednesday, he would be able to play Thursday night.

Think about what his return would mean to the Lightning -- not only on the ice, but also how it would energize his teammates off the ice. Maybe he wouldn"t play big minutes. but his presence on special teams could be the difference. What a story it would be if No. 91, in his return, scores the game-winning goal to lead the Lightning back to the Stanley Cup finals.

Of course, goaltending hasn"t been an issue for Tampa Bay, even without Vezina Trophy finalist Ben Bishop, who suffered a lower-leg injury in Game 1 of this series. Andrei Vasilevskiy has been solid in net for the Lightning. Even though there hasn"t been much of a drop-off between the pipes, if Bishop is able to return to the lineup for Game 7, that would also give Tampa Bay a massive boost of confidence.

Always a bridesmaid: No player on any of the four remaining teams in the playoffs needs more motivation at this point of the season, but there could be a rallying cry in the Lightning room for veterans Brian Boyle and Anton Stralman. Both players have been to three consecutive Eastern Conference finals -- one with the Rangers in 2014 and the past two with the Lightning. It"s difficult to reach the Stanley Cup finals, and opportunities like these don"t come around too often, so for Boyle and Stralman, maybe their experience and their teammates" motivation will be the guide to get the Lightning into the finals once again.

Without A Net: Blues At San Jose Sharks Round 3 Game 4 Preview

San Jose Sharks vs St. Louis Blues. 2016 NHL Playoffs. WCF. Game 5. 05.23.2016 (HD) 9 GOALS!

Not a quitter among "em. - Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

If there was ever a buzzword that I grew tired of last fall, it was "Reckless". In the hyper-accelerated lifespan of twitter, it went from catchy to snark to cliche in about an afternoon. Once the season got started, though, there was a marked difference to how the Blues played. This was not just a fiction of local homers - it was seen by the eyes of the world. If you wanted to hang a name on it, I suppose Reckless worked about as good as any.

However as the Blues succeeded despite injury after injury, another word seemed to replace it. It was less overt, never announced as such, but the team became better identified as Resilient. Whether it was the constant battles with the injury bug, rough patches in the schedule, or simply battling through games where rookie goalies suddenly looked like Hasek clones, there was always a bounce back.

The Blues find themselves in yet another situation where that resiliency will be tested. They"ve been here before, whether it was in Game 7s from previous rounds or from other elimination games of previous years. The scary thing, especially for spectators on the outside, is the fear of drawing from that well once too often. It"s nice to rely on something, but what if it isn"t there when you need it and it"s just a dark hallow void? The fortunate thing is that resiliency is a renewable resource. Even if one individual falters, it only takes a word from a coach, advice from a teammate with a touch of grey in his playoff beard, a good shift, or some sort of lucky break to instantly have it replenished. We"ve seen it before.

That"s what the Blues are going in with, and that"s what gives me confidence. This isn"t some sunshine-and-puppy-dogs nonsense promise. I have no idea whether or not the Blues WILL win. The Sharks are legitimately a team that"s hard to handle. But, I know that the Blues CAN win, and until the clock ticks to 0:00, that"s enough for me. Of course, we haven"t had that multiple OT game yet, so this might not happen until sunrise. If the Blues pull this off, we"ll all be dancin" in the streets.

As for the nuts and bolts of the game, the Sharks aren"t making any changes to the lineup. So far, they"ve been succeeding with the same roster each time, so why should they? The Blues, on the other hand, have been trying to find new mixes on a game by game basis. Per Hitch"s own words "We needed a jolt from Jake, and we got that. Now, it"s Brian"s turn to finish it". And with that, Jake Allen sits and Brian Elliott gets the start. This was a career-long stretch for Moose, so the break was well due. The expectation is that he needed some time off to physically and especially mentally hit the reset button, and should be sharper the rest of the way. There"s not been anything else said about other lineup changes, but keep an eye on the twitter feed below.

Much has been speculated about Vladimir Tarasenko and his struggles to score. Some wonder if he"s nursing an injury. Hitchcock says he"s 100% -- which is probably true in a relative sense. Nobody is 100% this deep in the playoffs, and hockey players, coaches, and management are certainly known to outright lie to the media. I don"t think that"s the case here, though. If you"re going to lie and get away with it, it needs to be vague or somewhat obfuscated. Allow yourself some wiggle room. Once the playoffs end, it"ll surely come out what injuries the players were dealing with, and you never spin a yarn that will be easily proven false later. So then, what of Vladdy? Well, Coach Hitch volunteered to "write your articles for you" in the off-day scrum (skip to the 2:20 mark), and two writers took him up on that. They are very similar, but check out both Lou Korac"sentry from NHL.com and Curtis Pashelka"sarticle from the Mercury News. Good points and some food for thought. If he can find some space, he"s going to be sitting on top of the world.

This student absolutely OWNED her Black Lives Matter counterparts who sabotaged Milo Yiannopoulos" event

Milo Yiannopoulos, Steven Crowder and Christina Hoff Sommers at UMass

This one voice of reason went widely unheard in all the news of the protesters shutting down the Milo Yiannopoulos event at DePaul University.

Luckily, Louder With Crowder brought it to our attention and we"re going to share it.

With protesters on stage shouting vulgarities and even threatening Milo, she took the mic and went on a rant that was nothing short of amazing.

Youre in a place and youre not respecting it. Im a white supremacist now? Because I believe in hard work and deciding that I need to make a life for myself makes me a racist, a bigot and a white supremacist? Youre not working hard right now. Youre being lazy and disrespectful, and Im pretty sure your parents didnt raise you to be disrespectful, she said while dealing with interruptions.

Its an opinion, guys. Its not going to kill you. If you believe in who you are, and know who you are, it will not bother you. I know who I am: Im Kate Danforth, I am a math major and junior at DePaul University and Im working my a*s off to become something, she added.

Boom.

Milo commended the student on her speech and pointed out, If theres anyone perpetuating stereotypes about blacks, its them.

Common sense is beautiful.

Tampa Bay Lightning beat Pittsburgh Penguins 4-3 in OT

Tampa Bay Lightning vs Pittsburgh Penguins. 2016 NHL Playoffs. ECF. Game 5. 05.22.2016. (HD)

PITTSBURGH (AP) The Tampa Bay Lightning are one win away from a return trip to the Stanley Cup Finals.

Tyler Johnson deflected Jason Garrisons wrist shot past Marc-Andre Fleurys glove 53 seconds into overtime to give the Lightning a 4-3 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals on Sunday night to take a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series.

Game 6 is Tuesday night in Tampa.

Nikita Kucherov scored twice to boost his postseason total to an NHL-best 11 and Alex Killorn picked up his fifth of the playoffs as the Lightning handed the Penguins consecutive losses for the first time since January.

Brian Dumoulin, Chris Kunitz and Patric Hornqvist scored for the Penguins, who lost for the first time all season when leading after two periods. Marc-Andre Fleury made 21 saves in his first start since March and couldnt get his hands on Johnsons redirect.

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) LIVE UPDATES:

11:10 p.m. Bolts beat Penguins in OT, leading the series. Game 6 is in Tampa Tuesday.

10:52 p.m. Overtime in Pittsburgh. Nikita Kucherov scores his second of the night with 3:15 remaining, sending the game to OT tied 3-3.

10:45 p.m. Kucherov scores to tie the game. Kucherov corrals a rebound and wraps it around, tucking it past Fleury. Were tied with just over 3 minutes to play

10:42 p.m. That puck stayed out. Callahan shot off the far post, rides the line, AND STAYS OUT. 3-2

10:41 p.m. Under 5 to go. Closing time for the Lightning, trailing 3-2

10:35 p.m. Vasilevskiy keeping his team within striking distance with a pair of solid stops. The Lightning have less than 8 minutes to even it up.

10:30 p.m. PIT out-shooting TB 25-17 halfway through the third period. Definitely one of the more tame games of this series.

10:21 p.m. Lightning doing a great job of blocking shots now. Both teams have been fearless in that department in a pivotal game 5.

10:18 p.m. Lightning with major pressure. Great keep by Garrison x2. Fleury bailing the Penguins out here. Johnson collides with Letang, and Johnny heads off for tripping. 4-on-4 now.

10:15 p.m. Lightning with a flurry of chances. TB is headed to the power play, as Maata high sticks Koekkoek. Koekkoek is bleeding. Thats 4 minutes.

10:12 p.m. Statistical anomaly of the night: Evgeni Malkin is 8-and-1 in the face-off circle through two periods.

9:55 p.m. Through 2 periods, the Penguins lead the Lightning 3-2. Goals by Dumoulin, Hornqvist, Killorn, Kucherov, and Kunitz. Shots are 21-13 PIT. The Lightning were the better team in the second period, but its a wash as each squad strikes twice.

9:52 p.m. Penguins score late in the second period, taking 3-2 lead over Bolts. Outstanding spin by Malkin to keep the play alive. He throws to the net, and Kunitz is there to punch home the rebound.

9:42 p.m. You felt it coming. The Lightning have controlled this period. Gorgeous set-up by Namestnikov, Kuch hits the empty net. 2-2.

9:40 p.m. Immediately after killing the Kucherov penalty, Killorn snipes one from an awful angle. Top shelf, and its 2-1.

9:37 p.m. Crazy sequence Great stop by Vasilevskiy. Thought he had the puck. He didnt. Penguins fire from the point and Vasi somehow stops it.

9:33 p.m. Lightning coming to life here, but the Penguins are hanging tough. Cole just made a great play to block a Killorn centering feed. Kucherov headed to the box for interference. A chance for the Penguins to re-assert control of this game.Penguins power play gets another chance; PIT leading 2-0 with 8:58 left in the second.

9:29 p.m. Letang heads to the box. Two minutes for slashing. The Lightning will get their first power play, coming up. Fleury OUTSTANDING toe save on Johnson. Flawless set-up by Hedman. Fleury getting a standing ovation here at Consol

9:26 p.m. Slater Koekkoek was impressive in this series. Playing with a quiet confidence, and earning more ice time. Fleury stops Drouin; his best save of the night.

9:22 p.m. Crosby probably just got away with hauling down Namestnikov. Looked like a hook there

9:21 p.m. Vasilevskiy waffle-boards away a chance in front. Penguins are coming on hard. This game is at a tipping point.

9:18 p.m. Excellent puck movement by the Penguins. Crosby out-works Sustr, feeds Maata, to Hagelin, touch pass to Hornqvist. 2-0 PIT. #HBKLine puts in another solid shift. The Lightning are on their heels here Being out-shot 11-4 so far

8:53 p.m. Domoulin scores with 1 second remaining in the period. Outstanding effort by Cullen to break away at the end of a long shift. Dumoulin trails, buries the loose rebound. Through one period, the Penguins lead the Lightning 1-0 thanks to a Brian Dumoulin goal with 7 seconds left in the first. That Dumoulin goal is partially Stralmans fault. Instead of shooting, dumped it into the corner. Killorn lost a battle, ended up in TB net. Thats Brian Dumoulins first goal since December 15. 2014 When he scored against the (you guessed it) Lightning.

8:50 p.m. Nice play by Bonino to break up a play in the d-zone, then Vasilevskiy ROBS him with the pad after Kessel centers it.

8:45 p.m. With 5:55 left to go in the first, the game is still 0-0. Shots are 4-3 PIT. This isnt the run-and-gun game weve seen in this series.

8:39 p.m. Lightning kill off the Johnson penalty without incident. Really no quality chances for the Penguins there.

8:38 p.m. Crosby skies a chance. Penguins are simply not shooting the puck tonight. Just 2 shots apiece so far. Malkin one-timer, but Vasilevskiy is square and absorbs it. No traffic in front of the Lightning net.

8:34 p.m. Crosby slides to a knee after getting hooked *a little* by Jonhson. Penguins go to the PP.

8:29 p.m. Drouin got caught with his head down looking for a puck, just like in that NYI series. Fehr absolutely leveled him. Fehr hit on Drouin was clean. Stayed on his skates, drove him right in the shoulder.

8:28 p.m. Vasilevskiy already had two hair-raising incidences trying to play the puck behind his net. The Bolts miss Bishop there.

8:25 p.m. Kuhnhackl gets dumped in the corner. Fans want a penalty, but they mustnt have seen Kuhnhackl holding the stick all the way down

8:23 p.m. Definitely a feeling out period in the first 5 minutes. The Penguins fail to seize that early home ice advantage. 0-0, shots 1-1. Silly turnover in front of the Penguins cage gives Johnson a huge chance, but Fleury stands tall.

8:21 p.m. Golden chance for Carle. Drew Fleury out of the net and had a gaping cage to shoot at Launched it high.

8:20 p.m. Lightning just got away with too many men on the ice. Results in partial breakaway for Callahan, but Fleury rejects him.

8:17 p.m. Boyle turnover leads to a prime chance for the line, but one-too-many passes results in no shot on net.

8:15 p.m. The puck drops in Game 5.

8:00 p.m. Game 5 starts at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh.

What the Heck Is Flashpoint and How Will It Affect The Flash Season 3?

The Flash Season 3 - Hell Yeah

What the Heck Is Flashpoint and How Will It Affect The Flash Season 3?

The CW

Still scratching your head over what season three of The Flash will look like after Barry went and screwed everything up in the season two finale?

Um, same. The timeline is going to be completely differenthow is that gonna work?!

While we"ll have to wait until, like, October to find out exactly what the new direction of the show will be, there"s one place we can turn to for clues: Flashpoint, the comic written by DC boss Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert that appears to be what The Flash is moving toward.

Yes, children, this is your summer reading assignment.

Here"s the deal: Flashpoint sees Barry Allen wake up and discover that everything is differentthe heroes are the villains, the villains are the heroes, Batman is actually Thomas Wayne, not Brucebasically everything is backwards.

The CW

It turns out that all of this came about because Barry Allen himself went back in time to save his mother, Nora, and royally screwed up the timeline. The entire Speed Force was pulled into Barry, completely changing the history of his allies.

Eventually, Barry is able to see three different timelineswhich then merge and create the New 52 DC Universe. Barry is able to remember the alternate timeline as well as the current one.

This opens the doors for many characters to join the show: heroes Citizen Cold/Leonard Snart (hello, Wentworth Miller), Kid Flash (Wally can actually get powers!), Batman, Cyborg, etc., and villains Aquaman, the Amazons, the Furies, Heat Wave, the Joker, and more.

Yeah, it"s kinda complicated, so you should probably start brushing up before your mind really gets blown with season three"s brand new timeline!

The Flash returns to the CW in the fall.

Report shows what cops found at Chumlee"s house besides guns, drugs

Meek Mill x Fabolous - All The Way Up Remix

The reality TV personality known as Chumlee on the show "p**n Stars" has been freed from jail following his arrest in Las Vegas on felony weapon and drug charges. USA TODAY

Austin Chumlee Russell of "p**n Stars" with Crystal (C), from the Dirk Arthur (R) Wild Magic show at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, on Dec. 23, 2015 in Las Vegas.(Photo: Denise Truscello, Getty Images for p**n Stars)

The arrest report for Austin Lee "Chumlee" Russell of p**n Stars is dead serious: The Las Vegas cops found lots of guns and drugs at his house when they searched it last week, suggesting, police said, the reality star might be adrug dealer.

But then there are some laugh-out-loud details, such as: Chumlee hasa "Chum Chum Room with Dance Pole."

In the "Chum Chum" room, policefound and seized a "clear plastic baggie with white residue" and a "$1 bill rolled up with white powdery residue."

We can only speculate what this room is for, because Detective Cody of theLas Vegas Metropolitan Police did not explain when he filled out the long list of items seized from Chumlee"s abode during a search on March 9.

The police say they were investigating an accusation of sexual assault made by a woman against the 33-year-old reality TV star, who appears on p**n Stars as an employee of the World FamousGold & Silver p**n Shop in Las Vegas, where the show is filmed andwhere "Chum" has become a fan favorite.

During the course of the policesearch, according to the report, the copsfound and seized marijuana, methamphetamine, drug pipes and other paraphernalia, lots of ammunition, and 12 guns, including handguns, revolvers, rifles and shotguns, some of them loaded.

Four of the guns were registered to Russell.

"It should also be noted that the amount of narcotics, narcotics paraphernalia and narcotics-related items found throughout the residence suggests (Russell) openly allows and participates in the unlawful use and possession of narcotics," the report said. "Many of these items are commonly found with persons who package and sell controlled substances, i.e., plastic baggies and digital scales."

Chumlee"s booking photo at Clark County Detention Center .(Photo: AP)

Russell was booked on multiple drug-possession charges and one weapons charge, and was released the next day on $62,000 bond. His attorney, David Chesnoff, vowed that Russell will fight the felony charges, and any sexual assault charges if they are filed.

Otherwise, Chumlee is lying low. The History Channel, which airs p**n Stars, also has been mum since a star of one of its most popular shows was arrested.

Besides the guns and drugs, the police also seized some of Russell"s clothing and bedding from areas of the house, including laundry room, kitchen, family room, master bedroom and so on. They also obtained a search warrant to draw a blood sample from Chumleefor testing.

The arrest report shows most of the guns and some of the drugs were seized from a large vault on the ground floor. Russell also hasa smaller floor safe in his master bedroom.

Russell did not want to open the vault for the police at first, saying there were "private things" in there. He told police that he had guns and marijuana "for his personal use"in the vault and that he smoked "a lot of weed." He said he typically would buy, say, four ounces of marijuana at a time so he would not have to buy it frequently.

Once it was explained to him that the search warrant covered the vault, he eventually cooperated and opened it. Police soon concluded he was in violation of the law prohibiting possession of a gun by a user or addict of any controlled substance.

That gave the police probable cause to seize all the guns and drugs.

Le danseur Frankie Manning ft par un doodle de Google

Hellzapoppin (Lindy Hop, Featuring Frankie Manning 1941 Gatti"s Cut).wmv
