The settlement impacts people who have ordered tickets at Ticketmaster.com.According to Billboard.com, you will receive discount codes for each transaction completed between October 21st, 1999 through February 27th, 2013 at Ticketmaster.com.
You will be eligible for up to 17 discount codes worth $2.25 on future online ticket purchases.
If UPS delivered your tickets, youll getone discount code per transaction worth $5 that can be used towards a future UPS charge.
Two discount codes can be combined at once, but once theyre used, they cant be used again.
You will receive an email from Ticketmaster if you are eligible for the discount codes. If you havent received an email yet, you should check your email on or around June 18th.
You can also receive ticket codes that COULD be redeemed for free concert tickets in a year if those who qualify dont use up a certain amount of the discount codes. If this happens, Billboard.com reports that Ticketmaster will release 100 tickets for a majority of events at Live Nation-owned or operated venues that can be redeemed for two tickets.
Ticketmaster has set up a website to help customers with this process.
According to Billboard.com, following this class-action lawsuit, Ticketmaster changed the language on its website to clarify that order-processing and delivery charges may include a profit for the company.
