The presumptive GOP nominee tried honoring the invasions 72nd anniversary Monday in a tweet and somehow chose a picture that isnt even from D-Day.
Remembering the fallen heroes on #DDay June 6, 1944, the billionaire buffoon wrote with a picture of soldiers running on a beach.
The photo was captioned: D-Day June 6, 1944.
Donald Trump misspells Bobby Knights name in tweet
But it is not from D-Day, or even from 1944.
Getty Images, which licensed the photo, said it was from a training exercise for D-Day in 1943.
For good measure, the photos caption clearly states: Troops coming ashore during training exercises for the Allied D-Day invasion.
Trump, as per usual, never acknowledged the blunder.
Donald Trump caught creeping on ex-wife in Cinco de Mayo tweet
Earlier in the day, Trumps Twitter account showed equal dishonor to basic grammar. In a tweet responding to damning reports about his barebones campaign, Trump dropped this gem: I am getting bad marks from certain pundits because I have a small campaign staff. But small is good, flexible, save money and number one!
The Donalds D-Day doozy came a week after he finally broke down the $6 million he donated to veterans groups in a press conference he largely devoted to hating on the press.
At the presser, Trump deemed himself the only person in the world who could raise almost $6 million for the veterans, have uniform applause by the veterans group and end up getting criticized by the press.
Trumps own military record is nearly nonexistent. Despite earning medals at the New York Military Academy, he repeatedly dodged the Vietnam Draft and eventually earned a medical deferment for bone spurs in his foot.

As part of ESPN Fantasy"s efforts to give daily gamers intel on whom to target in DFS, our fantasy golf experts are here to share which players they view as building blocks for this weekend"s event. The panel for the FedEx St. Jude Classic features ESPN.com"s Bob Harig and Jonathan Coachman, as well as FantasyGolfInsider"s Jeff Bergerson, Jason Rouslin, Zach Turcotte, Taras Pitra and Dailyfantasybootcamp"s Al Zeidenfeld and David Jayne.
Note: Golfer salaries listed are for DraftKings.
Bob Harig -- Phil Mickelson ($11,300)
This is not the week that Mickelson would prefer to win, but he"s used the Memphis tournament as a tune-up several times for the U.S. Open and fared well. Coming off a tie for 20th at the Memorial, where he gave himself numerous birdie chances, Mickelson will look to convert a few more putts at a place where he"s had two top fives in the past three years.
Jonathan Coachman -- Dustin Johnson ($12,800)
This is a really unique week on the PGA Tour. You have a few big names and then several young college stars who are turning pro this summer. I am going with a man who played well last week at the Memorial and has had success in Memphis before as well. He has not won since his 3-putt last year at the U.S. Open. He needs to raise a trophy and this week is going to be the week.
David Jayne -- Brooks Koepka ($11,100)
We have a weak field with only four players in the field that currently rank inside the top 25 of the FedEx cup standings. Koepka is returning to action after losing the lead on the back nine and eventual playoff three weeks ago at the Bryon Nelson. Last year at this event in Memphis he held the 36-hole lead while on the greens he was "burning a bunch of edges" and no putts were really falling for him. In his two starts here he has not been elite on the greens, but coming into the event he compares favorably to the field with the putter. I"m expecting a few more putts to drop for him this week resulting in yet another very strong finish for Koepka.
Al Zeidenfeld -- Phil Mickelson ($11,300)
With most of the top golfers taking the week off to rest, recuperate and prepare for the U.S. Open we"re left with only a handful to choose from. Mickelson is the one I"m going to choose to anchor my lineups this week because of his ability to scramble and be creative around the greens. The fairways are tight at Southwind and the ability to save shots and score from inopportune positions will rule the weekend and as a result, Phil is my guy.
Jeff Bergerson -- Brooks Koepka ($11,100)
Koepka is one of the few players that I can actually envision winning the FedEx St Jude Classic, with most of the top players in the world resting for the U.S Open next week. We last saw him squander a late Sunday lead in the AT&T Byron Nelson and finish runner-up, which was his fourth top 10 this calendar year. In his two appearances here at TPC Southwind he had a 19th in 2014 and a third-place finish last year. Koepka is clearly one of the most talented players in the field this week and I would expect him to add another top 10 to his resume.
Zach Turcotte -- Tim Wilkinson ($7,200)
Most writers are going to fixate on the three most expensive golfers this week, but in order to roster those players, you are going to need to drop down to the lower ranges to find some value to pair with them. Tim Wilkinson offers a lot of value at $7,200. Wilkinson has made six straight cuts and missed just two cuts all season. He has been tremendous in all phases of the game, particularly with his putter. He has made the cut in his last two starts at Southwind and his game is trending in the right direction. He will not win this week, but should be able to make the cut and has some upside potential as he has shown over the last two months.
Jason Rouslin -- Dustin Johnson ($12,800)
It"s no secret this guy has been around the winner"s circle all year and with back-to-back third places finishes, I think it"s his time for a win. The salary doesn"t scare me much as there are a plethora of great players to pair with him in the cheaper salary range, including three college grads playing their first tourney as professionals. DJ is a previous winner here back in 2012 to go along with a 10th and 24th in his other two starts. With an improved putter this season, DJ should be able to find his way into contention. Although it is just a tune-up event before the U.S. Open, I think there is a strong chance that DJ closes it with a win.
Taras Pitra -- Phil Mickelson ($11,300)
Phil has had some really good success at Southwind. We all know he likes to tee it up the week before a major to keep his mind focused on tournament golf rather than practice. Statistically he is the best he"s been in the past five years, so he may be a popular play, but my concern lies within how he scores after the first round as is the case with players teeing it up the week before a major. That being said, he has never missed a cut here, and his 58th place finish in 2009 shows he"ll grind it out even if his focus is on Oakmont.
LinkedIn (LNKD: NYSE) By MKM Partners ($135.07, June 6, 2016)
We believe that LinkedIn is a unique network, the de facto in Recruiting with promising opportunities in Sales and Learning. We are concerned that the jobs tailwind over the past six-years is becoming a headwind and that any further softness in Hiring revenue would incorrectly be perceived as a TAM (total addressable market) issue vs. a macro issue. We have made modest changes to our estimates, embedding 2% higher revenue based on upside in Q1 and guidance for the year.
Online jobs data getting incrementally worse
We track online jobs postings from the Conference Board as a barometer of hiring activity. This data has shown fair directional correlation with growth in U.S. Hiring revenue for LinkedIn (ticker: LNKD LNKD -1.4738393515106853% LinkedIn Corp. Cl A U.S.: NYSE USD133.7 -2 -1.4738393515106853% /Date(1465333280722-0500)/ Volume (Delayed 15m) : 982745 AFTER HOURS USD133.7 % Volume (Delayed 15m) : 1473 P/E Ratio N/A Market Cap 18121972448.3796 Dividend Yield N/A Rev. per Employee 342647 More quote details and news ).
After 73 consecutive months of year-over-year growth, online jobs postings have been in decline since February. May was by far the worst month since January 2009, down 285k from April and down 552k from a year ago.
Online job postings are not a direct revenue driver for LinkedIn. We do however believe it is a reflection of overall hiring activity and should be considered a check on demand vibrancy. Temp employees have been an issue for months and payrolls for May were surprisingly weak.
We are concerned that further deterioration could lead to a 2H revenue shortfall
Consensus forecasts reflect 27% growth in Talent Solutions revenue for the year. Excluding Lynda.com, expectation for Hiring revenue growth is likely around 21%. Deceleration from 33% last year and 46% the year prior is already stoking Bear concerns that the addressable market for hiring is nowhere near managements $12Bn visible pipeline.
We believe that any incremental softness in Hiring, even if macro related, would be interpreted as late-stage penetration of a more narrow addressable market.
Growing focus on GAAP vs. non-GAAP results would also be negative for LinkedIn
A growing focus for several months, this has likely weighed on LinkedIn shares to some degree. LinkedIn is among the most aggressive in the sector with stock based compensation expense.
SBC in 2015 of $510mn was 17% of non-GAAP gross profit for the company. EPS of $2.84 on a non-GAAP basis was a loss of ($1.23) on a GAAP basis.
We prefer non-GAAP and factor dilution for stock awards into our share count in our long-term earnings analysis. While we are comfortable with the dilutive impact on EPS power, LinkedIn does not screen well in the GAAP vs. non-GAAP debate.
Conclusion: While we like LinkedIns long-term prospects and believe that sentiment on the companys opportunity is overly negative, we remain at Neutral on the stock. We would wait for clarity on hiring revenue exposure to macro/cyclical factors, or a break-out in either Learning or Sales before potentially recommending the stock. We are maintaining our fair value estimate of $130 per share.

The TODAY family is about to get bigger: Savannah Guthrie is pregnant with her second child!
Savannah announced Tuesday that she and husband Mike Feldman are expecting another baby at the end of the year.
"Mike and I are so excited. We"re expecting a baby in December!" she said, surprising her fellow anchors with the news.
Savannah pretended to engage in a game of "Tuesday Trending Fishbowl" that drew in everyone, and then asked the question, "Are you pregnant?"
"Well yeah, I am pregnant," she said, prompting widespread cheers.
Hoda Kotb said she should have suspected something was up when she and her boyfriend had dinner recently with Savannah and her husband.
"We all had wine, and I noticed your glass wasn"t going down," she said. "I thought maybe you just weren"t in the mood."

Vale letting everyone know who got their first!
Their new addition will join the couple"s 21-month-old daughter, Vale, who found her own way to break the news to friends and family with a bright yellow T-shirt, making it oh-so clear who arrived first.
Savannah, 44, has emphasized how grateful she is for being able to become a parent at an age older than many first-time moms. This morning she wrote a candid blog about the renewed excitement: "The thought of getting to add to our family now is beyond every hope, dream and prayer I have ever had. It is not simply double the joy it is joy multiplied infinitely."
TODAY
Congratulations on baby number two Savannah, Mike, and Vale!
The pregnancy has already prompted one change in Savannah"s life: She will opt out of covering the Summer Olympics from Rio because of the widespread concern over the Zika virus. Brazil has been among the nations hit hardest by the mosquito-born virus, which has been blamed for severe birth defects.
"The doctors say that we shouldn"t because of the Zika virus so I"ll miss it," Savannah said. "You"re going to have to go to female beach volleyball without me, Matt. Try to carry on."
But she pointed out that she"ll have a lot keeping her busy Stateside, particularly with the presidential campaign hitting its height around the same time as the Summer Games.
When Savannah rejoined her colleagues later at the top of TODAY"s Take, the emotional roller coaster continued for everyone, including Willie Geist, who had to fan himself with a note card.
"You"ve got me schvitzing right now," he told her.
Natalie Morales expressed her excitement but admitted, "a bunch of us were starting to get a little suspicious."
Then Al Roker noted the impeccable timing of the news: "Natalie and I talked about it this morning before the show."
Savannah admitted she had to come clean about the news because it was getting hard to hide her belly bump.
"Moms have told me that the second baby pops out kind of early, so I feel like I"v been popping out from the beginning," she said. "I don"t know where the belly fat ended and the baby begins, but I"m so happy to exhale now."
Savannah"s first pregnancy came as a surprise as she and Feldman prepared to get married. The couple first announced they were expecting to guests at their March 2014 wedding in Savannah"s hometown of Tucson, Arizona. She shared the news with TODAY viewers a few days later.
"It"s funny, because we set the wedding date, I bought my dress, and then I found out," she said at the time. "So I"ve been doing a little praying that I would fit in it, and it all worked out."
Savannah Guthrie
Savannah and Mike welcomed Vale Guthrie Feldman to the world on August 13, 2014.
Once the news spread, Savannah shared her pregnancy journey with TODAY viewers through maternity blog posts. Taking a cue from the last time around, we can expect Savannah to:

Vale meets Cookie Monster and Wrangler in Studio 1A on February 13, 2015.
Vale, who was born on August 13, 2014, has been a frequent topic of discussion on TODAY. When Savannah recently sat in to help co-host TODAY"s Fourth Hour, she spoke about Vale"s growing vocabulary ("she knows her condiments!") and how she plays "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" on the guitar for her daughter to sing along.

WASHINGTON (AP) The Senate has marked the 72nd anniversary of the D-Day invasion with a recitation of the prayer that President Franklin Roosevelt led that day in a nationwide radio broadcast.
Ohio Senator Rob Portman read the prayer, in which FDR asked G*d to protect the American and allied troops storming n**i-controlled France, declaring that with thy blessing we shall prevail over the unholy forces of our enemy.
Portman sponsored legislation signed into law two years ago that will make Roosevelts D-Day prayer part of the World War II memorial in Washington.
