Ben Affleck was spotted meeting up with his and Jennifer Garner"s former nanny Christine Ouzounian in July, just weeks after the couple officially split on June 30.Sources close to Garner and Ouzounian claim the pair were having an affair, as detailed in this week"s PEOPLE cover story. Affleck"s rep vehemently denies the allegations and maintains that he and Ouzounian had a "work relationship and friendship" and rumors otherwise are "not true."
The image, taken July 17, shows Affleck chatting with Ouzounian at his Los Angeles rental home. In the pic, Affleck and the nanny are smiling as he appears to be holding a box.
The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star was spotted in Los Angeles near his home a few days before the picture was taken, and just days after attending San Diego Comic-Con to promote the movie. Otherwise, Affleck has spent some of the summer with Garner and his family in Atlanta, where she is filming the movie Miracles from Heaven, though he hasn"t been spotted at the guest house on her rental property since news broke of the nanny allegations. According to a source, Affleck hosted a barbecue party for 35 people at his house on Hampton Island, Georgia, last weekend.
Affleck and Garner officially announced their divorce while in the Bahamas for a long-planned family vacation. Sources told PEOPLE that Garner discovered the actor"s fling with Ouzounian during their stay at the resort destination.
Ouzounian, who began nannying for the couple"s three kids (Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3) last spring, told friends that she was sleeping with Affleck and would often meet him at the exclusive Hotel Bel-Air, sources revealed to PEOPLE. A source close to Affleck denies this is true.
Multiple sources have confirmed to PEOPLE that Ouzounian claimed to friends that she is "in love with him."Garner continues to work amid the allegations, but a source close to the actress told PEOPLE that she"s "very angry."
"To Jen, this is the ultimate betrayal," the source said.
