LANSING, MI The Mega Millions jackpot now over $500 million as no one won the top prize of $454 million for the drawing held on July 5, 2016.
The drawing on Friday, July 8 will have an estimated jackpot of $508 million and cash option of $357 million. It will continue to be the third largest drawing in the game"s history and seventh largest in U.S. lottery history.

Mega Millions winners for July 5:
- Seven players matched all five white b***s to win $1 milllion. Winning tickets were purchased in California, Florida, New Jersey Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Texas.
- None of those players played the Megaplier which would have increased their winnings to $5 million.
- In Michigan, 107,086 people won at least $2.
- Eight players in the state matched four white ball and the gold Mega Ball to win $5,000. That was the largest prize won in the state.
Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. Five b***s are drawn from a set of b***s numbered 1 through 75; the Mega ball is drawn from a set of b***s numbered 1 through 15. The odds of winning the jackpot is 1 in 259 million.
Mega Millions is played in 44 states, plus the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $1 each.

- The next Powerball drawing is Wednesday night, July 6, with an estimated jackpot of $257 million and a cash option of $179.9 million.
- The next Lotto 47 drawing is also Wednesday night, July 6 at 7:29 p.m. with a jackpot of $1.15 million. Deadline is 7:08 p.m. that day.
- Wednesday"s Fantasy 5 jackpot is an estimated $283,000. The drawing is at 7:29 p.m. Deadline is 7:08 p.m.
