Are Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger an item, or just close friends? It depends on which sources you believe.
The "Wrecking Ball" singer and 21-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver have been spotted and photographed together recently.
"They spent a lot of time together this past weekend," a source told People. "They have been hanging out at his L.A. apartment and at Miley's house."
Yep, they're an item.
Except ...
A Cyrus source also told People that the singer insists she is not dating anyone at the moment.
So, they're just friends.
Except ...
Us Weekly quotes sources as saying the pair are definitely dating.
"She thinks he's hot, she thinks he's cool," a Cyrus source told Us. "Patrick is a nice good guy. He's grown up in Hollywood just like her and it was only a matter of time before they hooked up."
Three years, to be exact. Schwarzenegger told Details magazine in 2011 that he had his eye "set on Miley."
But a few dates back then ended with Cyrus getting back together with and eventually engaged to Liam Hemsworth. The couple broke off their engagement last year.
Just don't expect musical-engagement-chairs quite yet. Us Weekly sources also say Cyrus and Schwarzenegger aren't in a "serious" relationship.
