Allentown celebrates 4th of July with 2015 street festival (PHOTOS)


MAX REACTS: 4th of July w/Mortal Kombat X

Allentown held its annual 4thof July street festival Saturday on West Linden Street outside J. Birney Crum Stadium.

Part of the festivities was the patriotic pet paradethat saw six dogs, dressed in patriotic attire, march down the street for all to see.

Thedogswere judged in three categories:

Most Patriotic Pet went toKiara, a 1-year-old Poodle and terrier mix.

Best Pet and Pal Combination went toMia, a 4-year-old Imperial Shih Tzu, and her owner Ileana Ramirez, of Allentown.

Best in Show went toDazi, an 11-year-old Beagle.

Macy"s New York 4th of July fireworks live stream, time, TV channel, public ...

The weather is expected to be clear and near perfect perfect for tonight"s Macy"s New York 4th of July fireworks spectacular.

So no matter where you are in the world tonight, you can join New York"s celebration since the Macy"s New York fireworks live stream is available here.

The time: 8 p.m. eastern/7 p.m. central.

TV channel: NBC (national).

Scheduled performers for the show include Dierks Bentley, Kelly Clarkson, and Brad Paisley.

And if you are among the lucky (if you don"t mind braving crowds) and are in New York, here are the public viewing spots for tonight"s Macy"s New York 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular.

"The fireworks may be viewed in Manhattan, Queens & Brooklyn from any area with an unobstructed view of the sky above the East River.

The public viewing sections for Manhattan will be the elevated portions of FDR Drive with the following entry points:

From Houston to Midtown:

*Houston Street

*23rd Street

*34th Street

*42nd Street

From Lower Manhattan:

*Broad Street Ground Level

*Old Slip Upper Level

*Pearl & Frankfort
