Despite being diagnosed with a cyst behind a knee that is causing him pain, comedian Tommy Chong took to the dance floor on Monday on ABC's Dancing With the Stars
Chong, 76, had posted a video on Instagram on Sunday, which showed him getting an MRI to see if he has what he described as "any serious injuries to the calf."
The entertaining Chong and professional partner Peta Murgatroyd have turned in crowd pleasing, if not technically perfect, routines each week.
He danced a stylish Viennese waltz, earning a 29 out of a possible 40 from judges on week 8 of the competition.
Not faring as well was Back to the Future actress Lea Thompson. She was eliminated despite some strong scores from judges. (Eliminations are based on a combination of judges' scores and viewer votes).
Thompson joins racing champ Michael Waltrip, actor-model Antonio Sabato Jr. , Mean Girls actor Jonathan Bennett, fashion designer Betsey Johnson, UFC champion Randy Couture , Olympian Lolo Jones and talk show host Tavis Smiley, who were eliminated from the competition in past weeks.
The five remaining contestants and their regular pro partners are: YouTube personality Bethany Mota with partner Derek Hough, Pretty Little Liars actress Janel Parrish and Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carso, and Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyd
