Over the past week, it"s become public knowledge that Julian Edelman just might be the biggest Tom Brady fan alive.
During a radio interview on Tuesday, former Patriots receiver Wes Welker was asked about the relationship between Edelman and Brady. Specifically, Welker was asked if Edelman looks up to Brady.
"Uh, yeah," Welker told CBS Sports Radio WBZ in Boston. "I mean, it"s a little too obvious. ... I think it"s been noticed."
Welker, Edelman and Brady were all teammates for four years in New England, so Welker probably knows what he"s talking about.
If you follow Edelman on Instagram, you"ve probably noticed that he loves to associate with Brady, even if Brady"s not necessarily associating with him. After Brady tried to lure Kevin Durant to the Celtics, Edelman went on Instagram a day later and posted a picture of himself in a Celtics jersey.
Also, we probably shouldn"t forget about Edelman"s branding. The wide receiver used a "JE11" logo, which he just happened to release shortly after Brady came out with his TB12 logo.
"It"s like going and getting Advil, and then there"s like the Walgreen"s prescription next to it," Welker said of the Brady"s brand vs. Edelman"s brand.
That brings us to Rob Gronkowski.
After Brady was photographed with Justin Timberlake at UFC 200, Edelman went on Instagram the next day and Photoshopped himself into the picture.
Yes, that"s a nice photoshop job, but it also proves Welker"s point that "Brand Edelman" is tied to "Brand Brady," even if Brady isn"t quite aware of that.
Gronk has clearly noticed what"s going on between Edelman and Brady though, so he decided to leave a colorful comment on Edelman"s photo.

If you can"t read it, Gronk"s comment says, "How many TDs would I have if I **** Brady like you?"
Those asterisks were put there by Gronk, so we"ll let you figure what they mean.
Anyway, if Edelman wants more passes than Gronk this year, he might want to start sucking up to Jimmy Garoppolo, because Brady"s going to be spending the first four weeks of the season on the sideline.
Edelman should start by Photoshopping himself into the picture below. He might want to make try and look like Lex Luthor though, because Garoppolo is dressed as Clark Kent.
Henrik Stenson"s Super Golf Shots 2015 Deutsche Bank PGA Tournament

Sunday afternoon Henrik Stenson won his first major title, as he finished 20-under par to win The Open Championship at Royal Troon by three strokes over Phil Mickelson. Stenson broke The Open Championship for lowest score for a tournament, and he tied the records for lowest score in a round in a major (63) and most birdies in a single round (ten). Supporting Stenson throughout his career has been wife Emma Lfgren, to whom hes been married to since December 2006.
Stenson isnt the only athlete in the family either, as the two met thanks to the game of golf with Lfgren being a golfer herself. Here are five things you need to know about Emma Lfgren.
1. Lfgren Attended South Carolina, Where She Was a Member of the Womens Golf Team

Lfgren spent four years at the SEC school, earning four Top 10 finishes in tournaments during her career in Columbia. In 1999 Lfgren helped the Lady Gamecocks to a 14th place finish at the NCAA Division I Championships, and she finished tied for 57th in the individual portion of the tournament. While both Lofgren and Stenson are natives of Sweden, they didnt meet until Lfgren was in college.
Stenson worked out with the mens golf team thanks to his relationship with coach Puggy Blackmon, thus allowing him to spend more time with Lfgren stateside. Lfgren graduated from South Carolina with a bachelors degree in Public Relations and Media in 2000. After graduation from college, Lfgren served as a teaching pro at the Barsebck Golf and Country Club in Sweden.
2. Lfgren and Stenson Tied the Knot in 2006 in Dubai

Lfgren and Stenson grew up in different areas of Sweden, with Lfgrens family being from the northern part of the country and Stensons family hailing from the south. After meeting and going on their first date in 1997 during the Swedish Junior Match Play Championships, their relationship strengthened with the two eventually getting married in 2006 in Dubai. The couple would live there for six years before moving to the United States, with two of their three children being born in Dubai. Lfgren and Stenson moved their family to the United States in 2012.
3. Lfgren is the Mother of Three Children

Lfgren and Stenson welcomed their first child, a daughter named Lisa, in July 2007 less than a year after their marriage. Per Stensons personal website Lisa is also referred to as Princess Lisa, and she was one of the couples two children who were born in Dubai. Karl, who the family calls Kalle, was born in March 2010 and Alice was born in the United States in October 2014. The family currently calls Orlando, Florida home, with Lfgren and the children accompanying Stenson to tournaments when time allows.
4. Lfgren Was Also A Skier in Her Youth

Lfgren had a choice to make when she was younger, with golf ultimately winning out and becoming her focus despite the fact that she was a talented alpine skier. The family still hits the slopes during vacations, most recently in Park City, Utah last Christmas, and they also own Jet Skis that they ride in Orlando. While Lfgren may not have chosen to take skiing as far as she did her golf career, the familys love for the sport has rubbed off on their children. According to Stensons personal website, both Lisa and Karl have taken to the sport.
5. Lfgren Has Been a Willing Accomplice in Some of Stensons Pranks

Stenson is known for his willingness to pull pranks while on tour, including asking other golfers for their email addresses and handing them a pen that delivers an electric shock when used. As for Lfgrens role in these pranks, there was the instance of Stenson climbing from their hotel room window to scare two fellow Swedish golfers during a tour stop in Switzerland a few years ago according to Franz Lidz of Golf Digest.

While, Qandeel Balochs pictures and videos on Facebook reportedly did not go well with conservative Pakistan, her death triggered massive condemnation and shock. Ironically, she was a household name in Pakistan for her raunchy photographs, comments, and videos.
As reported by BBC, Qandeel Baloch enjoyed the attention of large social media followers, with 43,000 Twitter followers and more than 700,000 on Facebook.

As reported by Daily Mail, Waseem after his arrest late Saturday confessed to drugging and choking Qandeel to death in the name of honor.
Reportedly, Waseem had stayed overnight at the family home. He had a quarrel with Baloch over money issues and her risqu Facebook photos. According to Qandeels father, Waseem escaped after strangling her.
Honor killing is commonly committed across conservative societies in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and India. Especially, because of the patriarchal notion of honor and shame associated with the female gender. These are reportedly considered gender-based crimes where teenage girls and women are usually the victims.
As reported by Al Jazeera, similar to Qandeels death, more than 500 people, mostly women, die in Pakistan each year in such killings, usually carried out by members of the victims family meting out punishment for bringing shame on the community.

Qandeel, also known as Fauzia Azeem rose to stardom for her Facebook posts and reportedly seen as someone breaking socially regressive barriers but despised by conservatives in Pakistan. Balochs racy social media pictures challenged social norms in conservative Pakistan.
In one of her tweets, Qandeel shared her experience as a women in conservative Pakistan.

According to Qandeel, she wanted to change the typical orthodox mindset of people in Pakistan through her Facebook posts. Before her death, she shared her thoughts on Twitter urging women to stand up for their rights.

Meanwhile, the Express Tribune quoted one of Qandeels Facebook posts saying, At least international media can see what I am up to. How I am trying to change the typical orthodox mindset of people who dont wanna come out of their shells of false beliefs and old practices [sic].
Undoubtedly, Qandeel Baloch with her Facebook pictures and videos implied a polarizing persona in Pakistan, where she was admired and ridiculed in equal measure. However, her unfortunate death has seemingly shocked even those who hated her.
NBA Hall of Famer and seven-time All-Star Nate Thurmond died Saturday at age 74 after a short battle with leukemia.
California"s Golden State Warriors, with whom Thurmond spent 11 of his 14-season career playing, announced his passing in a statement on their website.
"Weve lost one of the most iconic figures in the history of not only our organization, but the NBA in general," Warriors owner Joe Lacob said in the release. "Nate represented this franchise with class, dignity and humility as both a player and community relations ambassador for over 40 years. Without a doubt, he is one of the most beloved figures to ever wear a Warriors uniform."
"On behalf of the entire Warriors organization, our thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family, including his wife, Marci," Lacob continued. "We"ll miss his presence in his customary seats at our games next season, but his legacy will live forever."
Thurmond was drafted by the then-San Francisco Warriors in 1963, and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1985 for his legendary aggressive rebound defense.
In addition to his time on the Warriors, the 6-ft., 11-in. athlete also played two seasons for both the Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls. He retired in 1977 and was voted one of the NBAs 50 Greatest Players in 1996.
Decades after walking away from the game, Thurmond remained a Community Ambassador for the Warriors. He also ran a restaurant in San Francisco Big Nate"s BBQ which he sold in 2010.
His jersey, #42, has been retired by both the Warriors and the Cavaliers and hangs from the rafters at Warriors" Oracle Arena in Oakland, California.

As the NBA world mourns the loss of Nate Thurmond, Hall of Fame center who passed away on Saturday at the age of 74 after a short battle with leukemia, the league released a video remembering his legendary career.
In the video, Hall of Fame center Wilt Chamberlain who played alongside a young Thurmond withthe San Francisco Warriors before heading toPhiladelphia and Los Angeles says that Thurmond was an "incredible defensive basketball player" who played him "as well as Bill Russell."
Hall of Fame forward Rick Barry, also Thurmond"s former Warriors"teammate,reiterated Chamberlain"s praise.
"Nate Thurmond would have to be recognized as one of the best defensive players that"s ever played the game."
Thurmond, who is also featured in the video from a 2007 interview, touches on his legacy, and the importance of being bigger than basketball.
"I was able to carve out a career that was admirable, and more importantly, I was able to carve out a situation where people respected me and liked the type of person that I was, long after they"ve forgotten the last hook shot or blocked shot. If you are a good person, to me, that"s the most important thing."
Pokemon Go servers appeared tocrashon Saturday, leaving millions unable to play the augmented reality game.
Users across Europe and the UScomplained they are unable to access the game, or that it is regularly freezing.
Players began to report problems with the game shortly after 2pm.
A hacking groupnamed PoodleCorp has claimed responsibility for taking down the Pokemon Go servers through a denial of service (DDOS) attack.
The problems follow the US launch of the game earlier this month, which caused servers to crash due to overwhelming demand.
The game was launched in the UK on Thursday.
The makers of the game issued a statement on Twitter on Saturday afternoon saying: "We have been working to fix the #PokemonGO server issues. Thank you for your patience."

Banks, "f**k with Myself"
Jillian Banks earned plenty of buzz for her 2014 debut LP Goddess, a moody collection of alt-R&B that felt equally inspired by The Weeknd and FKA Twigs. Her new single "f**k with Myself" revisits those influences, and it adds in a few more for good measure: Selena Gomez "Hands to Myself," Arcas skin-melting body horror. The result is a song thats both catchy and discomfiting, if a little derivative.
Beach Slang, "Punks in a Disco Bar"
It hasnt even been a year since Philly punks Beach Slang released their solid The Things We Do to Find People to Feel Like Us, and yet the band has somehow found time to lose and gain a drummer, tiptoe toward breaking up, and record a new LP thats coming out in September. "Punks in a Disco Bar" (great title) is the first single from A Loud Bash of Teenage Feelings (EVEN BETTER TITLE), and its an absolute ripper thatll make you feel good about guitars and getting older.
Britney Spears ft. G-Eazy, "Make Me"
Britney Spears has her hands full with her children and her insanely popular Instagram account these days, but she still needs to release an album every once in a while to keep the well-oiled Spears machine Vegas shows, merchandise, a mobile game running smoothly. "Make Me" is the first single from her as-yet-undetailed new LP, and its the best thing shes released since her Femme Fatale days: low-key, largely unadorned pop-R&B. Its a far cry from her late-career EDM-cyborg heights, but thats alright with me.
Crystal Castles, "Char"
Crystal Castles are releasing their first post-Alice Glass album shes been replaced by Edith Frances on August 19th, and "Char" is the best of the singles the band has made available in recent weeks. (Amnesty (I) is also the first Crystal Castles album since 2012.) If youve spent any time listening to the bands old music, you know what youre getting here: lead vocals that are tough to discern, hollow drum machines, synth melodies that corrode and turn menacing in real time.
Flock of Dimes, "Semaphore"
When Jenn Wasner isnt cracking skulls as part of Wye Oak, she makes dreamy pop on her own as Flock of Dimes. Shes releasing her debut LP under that name in September, and "Semaphore" is the first single. Its rich, rumbling, and surprisingly funky, and Wasner sounds a little like Neko Case thats a huge compliment in this neck of the woods.
Itasca, "Buddy"
This new single from LA-based musician Kayla Cohen is gorgeous, intricately layered folk, complete with pedal steel and what sounds like the judicious use of a triangle. (Shes releasing a new album, Open to Chance, at the end of September.) Send this one to all the Joni Mitchell fans in your life.
Jamie Lidell, "Walk Right Back"
Ive always got time to spare for Jamie Lidells warped take on soul, and "Walk Right Back" finds the British veteran in vintage form: hes wailing about a love thats gone sour, trying to turn back time over a skittering beat. Lidells new album Building a Beginning isnt coming out until October 14th, so you have plenty of time to dive into his fascinating back catalog if "Walk Right Back" is your first taste of his work.
Justice, "Safe and Sound"
Can you believe its been almost a decade since "D.A.N.C.E.?" French dance godheads Justice have been working on new music for most of the 10s, and the release of "Safe and Sound" this week suggests theyre ready to make another play for club floors around the world. That means leaning heavily on the same tricks that made them stars in 2007: giddy group vocals, funky basslines, and the goopiest disco strings this side of the 70s. Its a perfect piece of Saturday night fromage.
Katy Perry, "Rise"
Is Katy Perry jumping into this years crowded pop picture with a new LP? I wouldnt read that much into "Rise," her first new song since 2013: its attached to NBCs coverage of the Summer Olympics, not some new album sitting just around the corner. Its a thundering electro-pop ballad set to footage of Olympic athletes training and competing, and the chorus is enormous. In short, its "Roar" on steroids. (Actually, scratch that the Olympics are troubled enough without a doping scandal involving their new theme song.)
M.I.A., "Go Off"
M.I.A.s last few albums have leaned toward abrasiveness and inaccessibility, so "Go Off" co-produced by Skrillex and Blaqstarr is a welcome reminder of what she can do within the confines of a relatively traditional, catchy pop song. (This might be the most immediate thing shes released since "Bad Girls.") She makes jokes about Neymar and a "German called Sven." Its a fun time! Heres hoping the rest of A.I.M. which might be her final traditional album finds her working in this vein.
