Sandra Bullock adopts daughter Laila

Sandra Bullock"s Son Picked Her Out a Slutty Batgirl Halloween Costume

Actress Sandra Bullock has added a new member to her famous family.

After months of dodging rumors of a second child, the Oscar-winning actress has adopted Laila, a 3-year-old girl who was in foster care in Louisiana, Bullock told People magazine in this week"s issue.

"When I look at Laila, there"s no doubt in my mind that she was supposed to be here," Bullock told People. "The exact right children came to me at the exact right time."

She described the intense pressure to protect Laila"s privacy until the adoption was finalized. "You feel it"s very much like witness protection," she said.

Bullock adopted her son, Louis, now 5, five years ago. He"s also from Louisiana.

Photographer Bryan Randall, whom Bullock has been dating, took the pictures.

It"s been a banner year for Bullock, 51, whom People also named its most beautiful woman in April. She was 50 at the time of the April cover, the oldest woman to top the list.

Stabbing in the Bronx leaves woman critically injured

Girl found safe, Amber Alert canceled

BEDFORD PARK, Bronx (WABC) --

The mother of a 3-year-old girl in the Bronx remains in critical condition Wednesday after she was stabbed and her daughter abducted Tuesday afternoon. Meanwhile, New Jersey State Police have released DashCam video of the suspect"s arrest.

The ordeal started at an apartment building on Perry Avenue in the Bedford Park section just before 1:50 p.m. Police said 47-year-old Diomedes Valenzuela stabbed a 31-year-old woman multiple times during a domestic dispute, then fled with their 3-year-old child, Rebecca Valenzuela.

An Amber Alert was issued in New York and New Jersey, and the father and young girl were found about an hour later. The girl was uninjured, according to police.

Detectives released details about Valenzula"s vehicle, a 2004 Silver Dodge Caravan, and said it was seen on the George Washington Bridge heading into New Jersey. The Amber Alert also triggered alarms to sound on cellphones within the alert area.

According to the New Jersey State Police, troopers were able to find the van and made a traffic stop on the Garden State Parkway in Clifton. Police called it a high-risk stop."We did stop the traffic before the incident was supposed to happen, just in case it went wrong, but thank G*d it didn"t go wrong, everything went smooth," state police Lieutenant Al Miller said. "We just thank G*d that he went willingly. He didn"t put up a fight."

Valenzuela is a former police officer in Irvington. He left the department in 2002, when he was found guilty by a judge of filing a false police report. He sued Irvington for five years, then settled and started receiving his pension. According to his attorney, the settlement erased the guilty verdict.

Rebecca Valenzuela was checked by medics who came to the police barracks. Her mother, who is at St. Barnabas Hospital in East Tremont, is expected to survive her injuries.

This is video of the suspect"s van being towed away.

Rebecca was reunited with family members in New York City.

Is Psy"s "Daddy" video the next "Gangnam Style"? Watch and see

PSY - DADDY (Feat. CL of 2NE1) MV Reaction [HILARIOUS]

Psy is back, and he"s making us dance again!

The man behind the 2012 mega hit "Gangnam Style" has released his first new song since 2013, and let"s just say it"s the "Daddy" of all possible tunes by the South Korean artist.

In fact, the song is called "Daddy" and was released on Nov. 30. But it"s the video, also released Monday, that has everyone talking (and just about 5 million views already on YouTube).

In the high-energy video, Psy is clearly the star, with his face superimposed on just about every male body in the clip, from a baby (yipes!) to a young boy who wows all the gals in his school (and the teacher), to a senior version of himself with a comb-over. Then everybody dances together!

Psy gets his daddy on in his new video.

So why "Daddy"? The song makes it clear, again and again, as a female voice (South Korean singer CL) asks, "Where"d you get that body from?" He answers, "I got it from my daddy!" (Mom, perhaps, gave him his Gangnam style.)

MORE: "Gangnam Style" breaks YouTube"s view counter, Psy keeps dancing

Fans of Psy will recognize that style here: swinging-leg dance moves, auto-tuning, a mix of rap and singing in Korean and English. And the song is clearly on its way to becoming another hit for the musician.

Bonus: Psy also dropped another video for his funky single "Napal Baji" (which Billboard says translates roughly into "Bell Bottoms") and that video also does not disappoint, either particularly for fans of 1970s fashion.

Psy"s new album (his first since 2010), "Chiljip PSY-Da," is set for release on Dec. 11.

Dan Slott Still At It: 24Hrs Bashing Batman Vs. Superman - Cosmic Book News

Batman vs Superman - Prévia Exclusiva [HD]

We"re guessing the next issues of Spider-Man and Silver Surfer may be late, with the blaming lying with the Batman Vs. Superman footage released last night during Gotham.

Marvel Comics writer Dan Slott has spent the last 24 hours blasting the footage, Batman Vs. Superman, Zack Snyder, Man of Steel and Superman on Twitter (read Part 1 and Part 2).

Slott isn"t happy with Snyder"s portrayal of the Man of Steel as the writer feels it"s a "dark/grim/joyless Superman." Slott goes on to defend his opinions stating, "From watching 2 trailers & all of MAN OF STEEL, my opinions are firmly based and far from "senseless."" Slott even argues to ask Cap fans if they are happy with the character"s portrayal in the Marvel movies, and then to go ahead and ask if the Superman fans are happy with the Henry Cavill version. Slott argues Captain America: The First Avenger and The Avengers was "on point" for Cap, while Man of Steel was "FAR off point" for Superman.

Slott continues with mention if they switched directors he would be "less wary."

Harrison Ford once shot The Doors" Jim Morrison

Harrison Ford Won"t Answer Star Wars Questions

Vittorio Zunino Celotto/Getty Images

Actor Harrison Ford had a brief stint behind the camera in 1968.

It"s a fact few people know, but Harrison Ford, who"s made a career out of being in front of the camera, once shot Jim Morrison.

Long ago, before rocketing to stardom as the captain of the Millennium Falcon, he worked as a carpenter, doing odd construction jobs and building sets.

One house he had worked on turned out to be that of photographer Paul Ferrera, who as luck would have it, happened to be shooting a documentary about American rock band The Doors, called Feast of Friends.

Ferrera had discovered during filming that one camera would not be enough, and after meeting Ford again at a party in 1968, offered the role of second camera/grip to the 25-year-old.

According to The Doors Guide, Ford attended a crash course in shooting, before starting on some footage for Feast of Friends.

Some stills from Feast of Friends (1968).

His first bits of footage took place at the Northern California Folk-Rock Festival in San Jose, California, in May 1968, where Ford was seen loading a camera just before The Doors were scheduled to perform.

Ford has reportedly joked that his camera work was usually off-focus, although much of the footage made it into the 40-minute final cut.

The Doors Guide reports that the following shots are likely to have been shot by Ford.

Ford"s involvement in the documentary project which went on for five months, spanning two countries and more than 20 cities did not last long, and he was not seen in other shows displayed in Feast of Friends.

In an interview about his short stint as a cameraman, Ford said: "I thought it was cool, I thought it was hip, but I couldn"t keep up with those guys.

"It was too much."

Star Wars 7: is Luke Skywalker the villain of The Force Awakens?

Star Wars The Force Awakens Interview - Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie & Domhnall Gleeson

As anticipation about Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens continues to build, the actor who plays the original trilogy"s young hero Luke Skywalker has offered some new hints about the future of his character, leading some to speculate that Luke may end up as the forthcoming trilogy"s arch-villain.

Warning: possible spoilers ahead

According to Mark Hamill, Luke will not be returning to the series as the "innocent farm boy" he was in Star Wars IV: A New Hope. "Obviously you"re seeing him in a very different time in his life, there are lots of surprises in this movie. You"re going to love it," Hamill told Empire Magazine (via SlashFilm).

Hamill also said that while shooting scenes for the new movie in Ireland he felt as though he was inhabiting the Star Wars universe. "It reminded me of when I was in Tunisia on the salt flats. If you could get into your own mind and shut out the crew and look at the horizon, you really felt like you were in a galaxy far, far away. I had that same wave of emotion happen to me when I was on Skellig Michael in Ireland. I wasn"t anticipating it."

Fans are still in the dark about why Hamill hasn"t appeared in any promotions for the new film. The most recent trailer for Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens - released last week to coincide with the US Thanksgiving holiday - features a lot more of villain Kylo Ren, but nothing at all of Luke.

The character has been notably absent from all promotions related to the forthcoming sci-fi film.

Hamill is billed second in the credits for Star Wars 7, right after Harrison Ford and before Carrie Fisher. But according to the film"s director JJ Abrams, "it"s no accident" that the actor doesn"t appear in trailers, posters, official photos and merchandising.

So where is Luke? Asked recently by the Sydney Morning Herald why the Jedi has been absent, Abrams responded cryptically: "These are good questions to be asking. I can"t wait for you to find out the answers."

In the absence of the original trilogy"s old hero, last week"s Thanksgiving trailer for Star Wars 7 has plenty of the series" new arch-villain Kylo Ren. The minute-long trailer startswith a close-up of Ren, played by Adam Driver. The now familiar voice of Supreme Leader Snoke can be heard on the background saying: "There"s been an awakening. Have you felt it?"

Later in the short clip the voiceover says: "Even you have never faced such a test," while the camera focuses on Ren standing in the rain holding a lightsaber.

In an interview with Howard Stern this week, JJ Abrams explained further why he did not want to talk about Luke"s absence ahead of the film"s release.

"Here"s the thing: I really want to make sure that we"re not ruining the movie for people, that they"re not seeing too much of it before it comes out. I hate when I go and see a trailer and think that I"ve just seen the movie in encapsulated form ... I"d rather be asking questions than feel like they"d been answered for me."

One of the more fanciful theories from Looper.com has it that Kylo Ren is in fact Luke Skywalker. The site supports its argument with the following evidence: the pair have never been seen together, they have the same fashion sense, Kylo Ren"s voice is "obviously fake", Luke likes to make custom lightsabers and that Kylo has Darth Vader"s head.

Other sites have suggested that Luke may become a villain, but that he is more likely to emerge as the Supreme Leader Snoke.

Andy Serkis, the performer behind Supreme Leader Snoke"s physical movements says that the character has a "huge agenda" and has "suffered a lot of damage," EmpireOnline reports. Serkis said that his character is "quite powerful," but exhibits a "strange vulnerability".

Star Wars 7: "I am Princess Leia" says Carrie Fisher

25 November

In an interview with Time magazine about her decision to return to the Star Wars franchise, Carrie Fisher says that she "long ago accepted that I am Princess Leia."

In a Q&A about the eagerly anticipated forthcoming Star Wars film The Force Awakens, which goes on general release in mid December, the 59-year-old actress said that it wasn"t a difficult decision to come back.

"I"m a female and in Hollywood it"s difficult to get work after 30 maybe it"s getting to be 40 now. I long ago accepted that I am Princess Leia. I have that as a large part of the association with my identity. There wasn"t a lot of hesitation."

Asked if her character Leia had changed over the years, Fisher replied: "Oh my G*d, she got so much older. I tried to stop her, but apparently that includes death so that didn"t seem like a good solution. Along with aging comes life experience so in every way that is consistent with even being human, Leia has changed."

In the new films, Fisher"s character is referred to as General Leia, indicating that her role within the Rebellion now known as the Resistance has grown since her adventures in the original trilogy of films. Some fans have speculated that Leia might now control the group aligned against the evil New Order, the group spawned from the defeated Galactic Empire.

Asked whether she brought aspects of her own life experience to the role, Fisher replied: "Probably, but I try not to. I mean, one hopes that I at least indicate that I have wisdom. Whether I"m successful with that indication or not remains to be seen. And I wear less makeup and I need it more."
