Bruce Springsteenand the E Street Band returned to Saturday Night Livefor the first time since 2002 to serve as musical guest for the show"s Tina Fey and Amy Poehler-hosted episode Saturday. In addition to performing a pair of cuts from The River"s deluxe reissue The Ties That Bind, Springsteen and company had a Christmas surprise at the ready for episode"s end.

Springsteen an the E Street Band, as a previewfor their extensive The River tour in 2016, first busted out the live debut of "Meet Me in the City," one of the many unreleased tracks from the productive River sessions that were finally untetheredfrom the vaults for The Ties That Bind. Springsteen followed that up with an exhilarating rendition of The River"s opening track "The Ties That Bind," which featured a solo by saxophonist Jake Clemons, the nephew of the late Clarence "The Big Man" Clemons.
However, the biggest surprise of the night was reserved for the episode"s closing moments, when Poehler and Fey, the entire cast of SNL and, inexplicably, Paul McCartney, joined Springsteen and the E Street Band for a festive take on the band"s Christmas classic "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town." McCartney"s participation was hinted by Springsteen"s Twitter, which warned fans, "Got a few surprises in store for tonight ...and make sure to stay up for the end credits!"(Springsteen latertweeted a photo of him and McCartney hanging out backstagepre-show.)
The secret was finally revealed when McCartneycasuallystrolled onstage with sleigh bells in hand to join in the festivities and help close out SNL"s 2015.
Creator Reveals How He Got Macaulay Culkin for New "Home Alone" Role
Perhaps being stuck "Home Alone" was more traumatic than we thought.
In the new comedy Web series ":DRYVRS" (warning: video contains explicit language), Macaulay Culkin reprises his role as Kevin McCallister, the adorable and resourceful 8-year-old who was left behind in the 1990 hit "Home Alone."
Except now, Kevin is in his 30s, and he"s got a few issues.
Culkin co-stars with series creator Jack Dishel in the first episode. Dishel plays an on-demand car service passenger who encounters a series of unfortunate drivers.
Culkin is his driver -- who can"t drive.
And he"s got more than his share of deeply entrenched woes dating to that time when he was 8 and his family went on vacation for Christmas and forgot him.
"I had to fend off my house from two psychopath home invaders. I was just a kid," he laments.
Still, the wily tactics he used against the would-be burglars come in handy decades later when the pair encounters a carjacker.
The message is plain: Regardless of his age, don"t mess with Kevin McCallister.

Jana Duggar was one of the adult Duggar daughters who spoke out about Josh Duggars cheating scandal during TLCs new special, Jill & Jessa: Counting On. The oldest Duggar daughter is single and still lives at home with her parents, and what she had to say about Josh makes it sound like she might be wary about ever getting married.

Each adult Duggar kid had a little something to say about Josh Duggars sexual molestation scandal, but their main focus was the more recent news that their older brother cheated on his wife of seven years, Anna Duggar. Oddly, none of the Duggars expressed any sympathy for Anna during the Jill & Jessa: Counting On premiere. Instead, Jana and her siblings spoke about how Joshs cheating affected each of them, and they shed plenty of tears for themselves.
According to Jana Duggar, Josh Duggars cheating scandal made it extremely difficult for her to trust other people. The older Duggar children all knew that Josh Duggar had sexually molested four of his sisters when he was a teenager, but they were blindsided by the news that he had cheated on Anna Duggar. Josh was forced to fess up to his infidelity after Gawker discovered that he had a paid account on Ashley Madison, a website that is used to arrange extramarital affairs.

Many fans of the Duggar family think that life has been hard for Jana Duggar because she was forced to watch as two of her younger siblings, Jessa and Jill, got married and moved out of their parents home. These fans believe that Jana also yearns to find a husband so that she can finally leave home.

According to the International Business Times, a photo of Jana Duggar that was recently posted on the Duggar Family Facebook page sparked a conversation about Jana Duggars future and her love life. Some commenters said that they would love to see Jana become the first Duggar daughter to move out and go to college, and others revealed that they think Jana should get hitched ASAP.
Past time for her to marry, one commenter wrote.
However, if Jana Duggar fears that all her potential mates are wearing masks that hide who they really are, she might have a hard time trusting a man enough to get married to him. Shes seen how her brother treated Anna Duggar, and she might not want to go through the same thing.
According to Jana Duggars father, she was already having a difficult time finding a husband without having to deal with trust issues. During a 2014 interview with People, Jim Bob Duggar revealed that Jana Duggar hasnt been willing to settle down with one of his pre-approved picks for her future husband. Jim Bob carefully screens all of his daughters potential suitors, and he asks the girls if theyre interested in anyone he approves of. So far Jana hasnt been very impressed with her fathers matchmaking skills.
There have been a lot of guys who have been interested in her, Jim Bob said. I have gone to hear about each one, and so far she hasnt felt that is the way the Lord is leading.
Instead of trusting her father to find her a husband, Jana Duggar is putting her faith in the Lord.
When G*d brings that one along it will be his timing, Jana told People.
Unfortunately for Duggar fans who would love to see a future TLC special about a single Jana Duggar moving out of her parents house and attending college to pursue a career, this is unlikely to happen. As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Duggars seem to be staunch supporters of the stay-at-home-daughter movement. This means that Jana Duggar will be encouraged to live with her parents as an unpaid babysitter for her younger siblings until she agrees to marry one of the men that Jim Bob approves. The Duggars are adherents of the Christian patriarchy movement, so they believe that women should remain under the authority of their fathers until that authority is transferred over to their husbands.
When Jim Bob finds a new male authority figure who Jana Duggar is willing to submit to, perhaps shell get her own TLC special about her courtship and marriage.
Search continues for Ethan Couch, mother continues
DALLAS - A juvenile court judge in Tarrant County has asked police to detain Ethan Couch, who hasnt checked in with his probation officer recently.
Couchs attorneys Scott Brown and Regan Wynn confirmed for the last several days, the juvenile probation officer has been unable to make contact with Ethan or his mother with whom he has been residing.
The court issued a directive to apprehend Couch. It an order that is similar to an arrest warrant for adults.
In 2013, Couch was convicted of intoxication manslaughter and sentenced to 10 years of probation for driving his pickup truck drunk and killing four people.
Prosecutors said his alcohol level was three times the legal limit when he caused the chain reaction crash in Burleson. And there were seven other teens in the pickup, including two in the bed.
The crash killed a 24-year-old stranded motorist, a youth pastor who stopped to help her and a mother and daughter who lived nearby. They were all working to change a flat on the side of the road.
Couch was found guilty, but the defense argued he had affluenza. Attorneys said he was the product of a dysfunctional and abusive family -- parents who condoned drug and alcohol use and never set boundaries. He was given probation and sent to a pricey rehab facility in California.
At the time, Judge Jean Boyd told the court the reason for the probated sentence was because she believed the then 16-year-old could be rehabilitated if kept away from his family and given the right treatment.
But earlier this month the Tarrant County District Attorneys Office began investigating a video that was posted online. It appears to show Couch at a party where alcohol is involved.

Tarrant County Sheriff investigators now have federal and international resources to help find Ethan Couch and his mother, and with what is expected to be a 10-day head start by the two, they"ll need it.
Law enforcement expert and veteran investigator Catherine Smit-Torrez says Ethan Couch and his mother aren"t going to be easily caught.
"I feel very certain that they left the country long ago, and once you"re able to get to another country, you can meet up with people who are gonna be shady enough to give you new identities and all that, and they can hide out for a long time, said Smit-Torrez.
Now with the help of the U.S. Marshals and the FBI, deputies in Tarrant County will be able to search flight manifests, ATM withdrawals and bank statements, following what they hope might be a money trail by a family with financial resources.
"It may be 10 years from now before they find him, but when he is found, he is going to have to pay the time that he should be paying right now, said Smit-Torrez.

Finally we get to hear what Anna Duggar has to say.
All the reports coming out this year about her husband have not been good, and that"s just the stuff he"s admitting to. Everyone wanted to know what she thought about everything, if she was willing to forgive him for everything that he has done.
The oldest child of the 19 Kids and Counting show that has now been canceled by TLC first admitted to molesting five young girls when he was 14; some of the girls had been his sisters. With that scandal finally done being talked about it was discovered that he has more than one Ashley Madison account, and he admitted to cheating on Anna. He was sent away for some Christian counseling.
TLC is now airing a three-part special with two of Duggar"s sisters that he molested, "Jill and Jessa: Counting On." Onthis Sunday"sepisode, part two, Anna will discuss her husband cheating on her, calling it a "betrayal."
"It was definitely a hard thing. I think it is such a betrayal for a spouse to go through what we"re walking through," she said. "it was hard to realize that it was such a public thing, and so, not only was it a betrayal against me, but it was also a betrayal for those who call themselves Christian because here we were as a Christian couple, and everyone was able to see us get married and to vow before G*d to be loyal to each other. And that loyalty was broken."
Anna"s gone through a lot this year. Not only did she have to put up with these scandals of her husband"s, but she gave birth to their fourth child just before he admitted that he had cheated on her.
"It was just like, how could this happen in our marriage? Josh was my first love, my one and only, but I knew that my only hope was to cling to my faith because I knew if I went off of what I was feeling, it would turn a mess into a disaster," Anna said. "In the stun and shock of everything, I was just praying to G*d to help me respond to this."
Even after the episode where Anna speaks her mind, the future of her relationship with Josh is still in question. He"s still away at counseling, and she and the children have moved to her parents" home in Florida. Meanwhile, he"s being sued by a p**n star who claims he assaulted her while they were having s*x.
Bella Thorne Clarifies Hollywood "Mean Girl" Comments From Seventeen Magazine Interview
Who is this mystery mean girl Bella Thorne speaks of?

Thorne didn"t reveal the mystery mean girl"s identity during a HuffPost Live interview Wednesday, but she did clarify some of her comments after the quote was read back to her. "You know, there"s a little part that"s missing in there. It"s not, "I hate her because she"s a billionaire." It"s, "I don"t like her because she is a billionaire and makes sure everyone knows that she is," which is like, you know, I didn"t grow up with money or anything like that," the actress said. "And even if I did...I"m not very much like that. But it"s not necessarily about one person."
Thorne reiterated that her issue isn"t with the mystery girl"s wealth, saying, "If somebody wasn"t flaunting it in a mean way to make other people feel bad about themselves, then I would not mind it. It would be, "Go, girl! You do you. Good for you. I"m happy that you have a great life." It"s when people do it in certain types of ways that make you not appreciate them as much."

Having money isn"t the problem, Thorne said. In fact, the teen queen added, "It"s not something you should be ashamed of. You should be like, "h**l, yeah! I worked hard and that"s how I"m here now, and I"m proud. I"m proud of who I am." And that"s always good to let any girl know."
The former Disney Channel star said she spoke out in Seventeen to let young girls know that bullying is never OK, no matter their circumstances. "It"s in Hollywood, too. It doesn"t change like that. Our life is not so overly glamorous. It"s exactly what you"re going through, but there"s photos taken of it," Thorne explained. "And that"s kind of the difference. So, it"s about bullying."
