Miss Heard appeared to try to calm the actor down.
She said: "Nothing happened this morning, you know that? I just woke up and you were so sweet and nice, we were not even fighting this morning. All I said was sorry."
Mr Depp could then be heard saying: "You want to see crazy? I"ll give you crazy."
He poured a glass of red wine and then said: "Here"s me, all your crazy."
Miss Heard said "Did you drink all that this morning?"
She appeared to be filming the incident without Mr Depp"s knowledge.
He then spotted the camera and seemed to grab it, saying "Oh you got this going? Oh really" before the footage ended.
The footage appeared on the TMZ website the day before Miss Heard was due to give a deposition in the case in Los Angeles.
Sources close to Mr Depp told TMZ the video was "heavily edited."
They said there were parts of the footage where Miss Heard could be seen "smiling and egging him on".
