I coached at Camp for several summers and it was so cool to watch girls find their voices...to play singers for them like Nina Hagen, Cibo Matto, Ma Rainey, Yoko Ono, opening up the idea of what singing is and what kinds of voices are beautiful. I loved getting to share Camp with Ava, and seeing her transformed into a tiny scowling Debbie Harry was unbelievable! Baby"s first wig cap!

Devastating news for Ali Landry and husband Alejandro Gomez Monteverde.
According to the Latin Times and People, the father-in-law and brother-in-law of the former Miss USA were found dead in Veracruz, Mexico, approximately two weeks after they were kidnapped from their home in Tamaulipas, Mexico.
Juan Manuel Gomez Fernendez and his son, Juan Manuel Gomez Monteverde, were reportedly found dead in El Chachalaco, both with traumatic brain and head injuries.

Fernendez and Monteverde were reportedly kidnapped on September 4.
According to Televisa news anchor Carlos Loret de Mola, a ransom was paid for Fernendez and Monteverde, but their kidnappers did not release the father and brother of Landry"s filmmaker husband.

Us Weekly reported that Landry and her husband scattered the ashes of his late father and brother in the waters off the coast of Tampico, Mexico, on Wednesday.

DeMarco Murray"s "Not Top-10 Moment" During His Press Conference When Asked About Playing Cowboys
DeMarco Murray left Eagles practice early today, according to the team, due to a hamstring injury. Murray was listed on the Eagles" injury report as a limited participant. According to Adam Caplan of ESPN, Murray will undergo an MRI to assess the damage.
Murray"s season is quickly going from bad to worse. He has not had anywhere to run when he has touched the football, and he is tied for 96th in the NFL in rushing yards. In fact, there are 23 quarterbacks with as many rushing yards as Murray so far this season. If his injury is serious enough to warrant an MRI, his availability for Sunday"s game against the Jets has to be in question.

Bradford on his inaccuracy
On Monday, we showed six inaccurate throws by Sam Bradford, in gif form, from his game against the Cowboys. While Bradford thought his reads were good, he acknowledged that his ball placement was not.
Theres no doubt I missed a few passes," Bradford told reporters at the NovaCare Complex today. "Im not saying that they were all perfect. I think that a couple of those passes I missed, they were going to the right places, they just werent good b***s. After looking at the tape, I think my feet were just a little bit off. I just have to get my feet back into rhythm, taking the correct drop. Usually when my feet are good, my accuracy is good.
There isnt much of a reason Bradfords footwork should have been off. While the offensive line was brutally bad in the run game, they actually did a good job in pass protection, as Bradford more often than not had a clean pocket.

Across town, Kermit promoted his ex"s new show. This is my life now and it"s televised, said Kermit putting on a brave face. Despite trying to remain positive, Kermit appeared slightly on edge. Kermit"s new hog Denise was not available for comment.
Working with his ex-pig may not be as easy as he wants fans to believe. According to a source, Kermit the Frog booked Elizabeth Banks on Miss Piggy"s late night talk show and chaos ensued -- but you"ll have to tune in to find out why Miss Piggy is upset about that. Piggy, for her part, has moved on after her breakup with Kermit, and her new beau, Josh Groban, will be guest starring on this episode as well.

Keshas lawyer says the pop star is being victim-shamed by her former producer, whose own lawyers say the singer just wants out of her contract.
An army of Kesha fans is coming out to defend the pop star in her legal battle against the man who discovered her.
Kesha-lovers and feminists alike b*m-rushed Twitter with #FreedomForKesha posts Tuesdaydemanding Dr. Luke, her former producer, release her from her contract over allegations that he physically and sexually abused her for years.
As the Free Kesha campaign revved up, Keshas attorney Mark Geragos compared her plight to that of Bill Cosbys rape accusers, saying Dr. Luke is a vindictive, evil man and that other victims will come forward in trial.
He used her, abused her, and thats how he operates, Geragos told The Daily Beast. Ask anybody whos ever worked with him throughout all this litigation. I defy you to find one artist who has come to his defense.
But Christine Lepera, an attorney for Dr. Luke (Lukasz Gottwald) called Keshas legal woes entirely of her making.
It was Kesha who chose to file a lawsuit falsely alleging abuse to gain advantage in contract negotiations, and now she must accept the consequences of her improper actions, Lepera said in a statement Monday.
In response, Geragos said Lepera is blaming the victim and that her statements are tantamount to telling Bill Cosbys rape accusers by coming out publicly, claiming theyre victims, theyve caused their own problems.
Lepera did not return messages left by The Daily Beast.
Kesha has accused Gottwald of drugging, raping, and physically abusing her, then holding her career hostage, according to her lawsuit filed in October 2014. The abuse allegedly occurred shortly after Gottwald discovered Keshaor Kesha Rose Sebertas an 18-year-old high-school student.
Last week, Kesha, 28, pushed for a court injunction to allow her to work with other producers and record labels. She warned her career could plummet past the point of no return without it, court records show.
Dr. Luke has been tyrannical and abusive since our relationship began, Kesha said in an Aug. 31 affidavit. I was too young and naive to even understand what he was doing to me.
She added, I know I cannot work with Dr. Luke. I physically cannot. I dont feel safe in any way. He has threatened me many times. Three strikes and youre out, he told me.
Gottwald, 41, has denied the abuse allegations. In a counterclaim, he accuses Kesha, her mother, Pebe, and her manager of launching a highly public extortion and smear campaign to force him to terminate their contract.
The lurid details of Gottwalds alleged abusewhich Kesha apparently never took to policehave fans calling the songstress a victim of rape culture on social media. One supporter posted: Raped for 10 years, eating disorder followed and is now being punished for speaking out. She cant speak now, but we can.
In court papers, Kesha claims Gottwald persuaded her to drop out of high school and leave her home in Nashville, Tennessee for Los Angeles. But after she signed to Gottwalds music production company, he allegedly turned abusive.
Gottwald would allegedly boast and brag about how he liked to take girls out on a first date, get them as drunk as possible, and f**k them in the a*s, Kesha claims in her suit. Then she allegedly became one of his targets.
On one occasion, the producer allegedly forced her to snort drugs before they got on a flight. Once on the plane, he allegedly forced himself on her while she was intoxicated. She was so drugged up during the flight that she vomited on herself, court filings claim.
Kesha claims that another day, Gottwald forced her to drink with him, then gave her sober pills. She woke up the next afternoon, n***d in Dr. Lukes bed, sore and sick, with no memory of how she got there, court records charge.
She immediately called her mother and said she was in Gottwalds hotel room, that he raped her and that she needed to go to the ER. She claims Gottwald gave her GHB, or gamma-hydroxybutyrate, also known as the date rape drug.
Sometime after the episode, Gottwald allegedly took her to the beach for a talk and threatened to destroy her career and her family if she told anyone about the rape, according to court records.
Ms. Sebert wholly believed that Dr. Luke had the power and money to carry out his threats; she therefore never dared talk about, let alone report, what Dr. Luke had done to her, her lawsuit charges.
Meanwhile, Gottwald allegedly insulted her body weight and songwriting skillssometimes in front of otherssaying things like, You are not that pretty, you are not that talented, you are just lucky to have me, and There are a million other girls out there like you.
At one point, he allegedly called her a fat f*****g refrigerator.
Gottwald also allegedly attacked Kesha at his Malibu home, screaming and violently thrashing his arms at her, court papers state. She frantically fled his house, running down the Pacific Coast Highway barefoot and climbing into nearby mountains to hide, she claims.
She said his alleged abuse prompted her to suffer from bulimia and in January 2014 seek treatment at a rehab center in Illinois.
Still, Keshas current claims are seemingly at odds with previous testimony.
In 2010, Keshas former management company, DAS Communications, filed a suit against both her and Gottwald over commissions.
According to the suit, Kesha inked a deal with DASs David Sonenberg sometime after Gottwald discovered her and almost went to Warner Bros, Billboard.com reported.
The pop star was complaining about Gottwald as early as 2005, DAS claims. She allegedly told DAS he engaged in certain unethical and unlawful actions against her and that she did not want Gottwald to be part of her career going forward, court papers reveal.
Kesha fired DAS three years later. In response to their suit, she said she was fortunate to have the attention and support of Dr. Luke and that it was DAS that poisoned her relationship with the producer.
Luke never made sexual advances at me, Kesha testified back then.
Holidays are a tense time. I have spent many counseling sessions over the years working with couples on issues relating to preparing for an upcoming holiday or recovering from the aftermath of a disastrous holiday. Besides all of the preparation that goes into the holiday which we can get stressed out about, there are issues of family dynamics involving in-laws and children. Whose house are we going to this year? Who is coming to us? Although we can often find ways to avoid interaction as a family, holidays almost force us to be together for an extended period of time. It may mean kids being home from school, changes in our routine, etc... For many of us this can be uncomfortable. Sometimes our anticipation of the holiday can create additional stress.
The holiday can serve as a turning point for a relationship. Unfortunately, we received a few contacts recently from readers whose spouses have decided to leave them after the holidays. To leave before or during the holiday would be too difficult on the family but once the holiday is over, it is an opportune time to move on, or so they say. I can only imagine what such a family could be going through at this time. How can they enjoy their holiday knowing it is the last one they will all share together? What will their future experiences of this holiday be when they will forever be reminded that this is the last holiday before their spouse or parent left? Impulsive decisions about relationships are never advisable unless your life is in danger.
Unfortunately, many people give up hope on their relationship. They don"t think there is any way to fix it, even if they have never sought professional help before. There are people now facing the decision whether or not to leave in order to not lose out on a potential lease and in order to not lose this sought out residence, they"re choosing to leave their marriage rather than lose the apartment. It"s sad that the possibility of losing the perfect living quarters is more important than losing out on the perfect partner.What is an impulsive decision? When our brains are under stress, we are not capable of accessing the logic part of our brain so to make a decision out of survival mode, unless you are in physical danger in the relationship, is not a wise choice and has ramifications that will last a lifetime.
Furthermore, many people think that marriages don"t require work to make them successful and are contemplating leaving without attempting to get professional assistance. And even if they have gone to someone and it hasn"t worked, they"re ready to give up. If you had a life threatening illness and one doctor gave you a death sentence, would you not seek a second opinion? No doubt you"d do anything you could to stay alive.
Why is it that we don"t put the same effort into saving a marriage which not only affects your life, it affects the life of your spouse, children, and their children. Is it because you think it is your spouse"s fault? That he/she will never change?
G-d believes we can change even though every Yom Kippur we stand before Him pretty much the same as the year before so why can"t we hold the hope for our spouse?
Our challenge to you this holiday season is to put rash decisions like leaving your marriage on hold.Shelve it until after the holidays are over. Let"s talk then.

In his October GQ cover story, symmetrical face-haver Ryan Reynolds shared his firsthand account of a traumatically invasive incident. According to Reynolds, he was shocked to discover that one of his closest friends, someone he grew up with, was shopping around a private photo of him, his wife Blake Lively, and their newborn daughter, James. It didn"t take long for Reynolds to track down the culprit, since he says he only shared the image with his closest family and [his] closest friends. The actor told GQ that the experience was one of those devastating things to find out and likened the betrayal to a death.
Unfortunately, this type of money-hungry treachery is fairly common in the world of celebrity friendships. Whether its a fellow star, a non-famous friend, or even a parent or family member, theres always someone looking to make a buck off the inside scoop.
In 2014, a leaked Lindsay Lohan s*x list revealed 36 of the stars alleged conquests. The hand-written account, which named Hollywood hunks like James Franco, Justin Timberlake, and Zac Efron, naturally became tabloid fodder. But the insanely private all-access pass to Lohans s*x life was never supposed to go viral. On the finale of her OWN docu-series, the actress admitted that she wrote a sexual inventory during her time in rehab at the Betty Ford Center, citing it as part of her 12 steps for Alcoholics Anonymous. That was in my Betty Ford book, so that was really personal to my sponsor, she insisted.
Lohan believes that the list was leaked by one of two people who helped her move out of the Beverly Hills Hotel, saying, Pretty sure I know who it is, unfortunately...They"re not a part of my life at all anymore. An even more concerning trend involves celebrities who are obviously in a position of vulnerability, and the blood-sucking parasites harvesting their breakdown pain for tabloid profits. During the long national nightmare that was Amanda Byness public breakdown, a recording of the former child star threatening to murder her father started making the Internet rounds. In a statement released by Byness attorney, the troubled starlet apologized. Im sorry I trusted people who clearly were not my friends and capitalized on my illness...I never expected others to take advantage and profit from my condition, she said. Im disappointed with those who lulled me into a false sense of security only to find out they really are only interested in selling my privacy to the media.
Kim Kardashian similarly accused non-famous KUTWK cast member and best friend Jonathan Cheban of selling her out. In a 2014 episode of Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons, Kardashian surmised that the former publicist leaked a story about Kourtneys therapy. It was a strangely confident accusation coming from Kim, who was reportedly the number one source for all things juicy and gossip-related when it came to dishing dirt on former BFF Paris Hilton. (Before she was Kim Kardashian West, Kim was a lowly Hilton handmaiden with a chip on her shoulder and a direct line to TMZ. It just goes to prove the age-old adage: keep your friends close, and your closet-organizers closer.)
But while celeb-on-celeb sabotage is no laughing matter, theres no source of betrayal more upsetting than a parent. Just ask Katy Perry or Jennifer Aniston; both stars have mothers who have profited off family stories and salacious gossip. Nancy Anistons book, From Mother to Daughter to Friends, told the story of her tense relationship with her movie-star daughter. Mary Hudson, Katy Perrys mother, is reportedly trying to pull off a similar stunt, shopping around a memoir about her once-Christian daughters fall from grace.
In a 2011 Vogue interview, Rihanna told a cautionary tale about celebrity parenthood, recalling how her father sold childhood photos to a tabloid. The pop star warned, You hear the horror stories about people going behind peoples backs and doing strange things, but you always think, not my family. My father would never do that to me. Rounding out this squad of parental failures is Drew Barrymores mother, Jaid Barrymore, who went so far as peddling her famous daughters baby clothes on eBay. No wonder Drew appealed for legal emancipation at the tender age of 15.
Whether its a baby picture, a privileged confession, or even a s*x list, tabloid betrayals reveal just how hard it is for celebrities to find someone to trust, whether its a childhood friend, a fellow star, or even dear old mom and dad. Maybe Kanyes complaints about how difficult it is to be famous werent so off the mark after all.
