The atmosphere for the San Francisco 49ers-Oakland Raiders game inside the stadium was relatively calm, despite concerns there would be problems between the rival fans.

Outside the stadium, however, there was a shooting over the Raiders-49ers game.

A man was shot in a dispute that "is game-related for sure," San Jose Police told the San Jose Mercury News. Police responded to a 5:15 p.m. call from a restaurant in San Jose, and found a man who was shot. He was transported to the hospital with what the Mercury News reported were "life-threatening wounds."

Several people were detained after police arrived.

The Raiders beat the 49ers 24-13 on Sunday. The Mercury News story said officials worried about the scene at the game because of brawls that broke out in the crowd at the last three Raiders-49ers games. The Mercury News reported there was "relative peace" at the stadium.
