MARK: The weekend is here, time to head to the movies,

and our film critic Wil Loper is here with a preview

of what"s coming out this weekend, including Suicide

Squad?

WIL: If you"re kind of sick of superhero movies,

maybe supervillains will be more your speed? It"s

a tale as old as time, one our ancestors would sit

around the fire to tell.

Of course, i"m referring to the story of humans being

trapped in the bodies of cats.

Here are the new movies hitting theaters.

JOKER: A joke a day keeps the gloom away!

JOKER: You ever dance with the devil in the pale

moonlight? Never rub another man"s rhubarb!

JOKER: We really should stop this fighting, we"re

gonna miss the fireworks.

And here we go!

THERE"S SOME BIG SHOES TO FILL WHEN IT COMES TO PLAYING

BATMAN"S GREATEST ENEMY, THE JOKER.

FROM CESAR ROMERO, TO JACK NICHOLSON AND HEATH LEDGER,

JARED LETO HAS A HIGH BAR SET FOR HIM THIS WEEKEND

IN "SUICIDE SQUAD." IN THE FILM, A GROUP OF SUPERVILLAINS

ARE BROUGHT TOGETHER TO FIGHT AN ALIEN FORCE.

THE SQUAD INCLUDES EXPERT MARKSMAN DEADSHOT, PLAYED

BY WILL SMITH, HARLEY QUINN, PLAYED BY MARGOT ROBBIE.

BOOMERANG PLAYED BY JAI COURTNEY.

AND RICK FLAGG, PLAYED BY JOEL KINNAMAN.

VIOLA DAVIS ALSO STARS AS GOVERNMENT AGENT AMANDA

WALLER.

SUICIDE SQUAD IS RATED PG-13

WE"VE SEEN TIM ALLEN TRAPPED IN THE BODY OF A DOG,

AND THIS WEEKEND, KEVIN SPACEY FINDS HIMSELF TRANSPORTED

INTO THE BODY OF A CAT.

THERE"S ONLY ONE WAY FOR THE BUSINESS TYCOON TO ESCAPE

THE FURRY BODY OF MR.

FUZZYPANTS.

NINE LIVES IS RATED PG.

And that"s the only joke in the movie.

I know, why is stooping this low, to be playing a

cat! It"s disappointing.

Both are disappointing.

The Suicide Squad is getting pretty bad reviews, the

fans are petitioning for Rotten Tomatoes to be shut

down.

Because...

Because the movie is getting bad reviews, and shutting

down Rotten Tomatoes will somehow make it good.

It makes no sense.

What?

And I thought the trailer looked like it might be

fun! If they just had fun with it! But turns out...

And they went too serious with it.

Probably.

It"s just not the way to go with that.

And Kevin Spacey is having too much fun.

Maybe a little too much fun.
