When are the Billboard Music Awards? Everything you need to know about 2016"s glittering ceremony

2016 Billboard Music Award Predictions - Kim Kardashian Pregnant Again? (DHR)

The Billboard Music Awards are a chance for the industry to honour the biggest stars in music and it"s set to be a memorable, exciting evening.

From video premieres to all-star performances, it"s all happening at this year"s ceremony as the most popular and successful artists in the world gather in Las Vegas.

The likes of the Weeknd, Drake, Adele and Taylor Swift are just some of the huge names vying for tonight"s top awards.

Everyone from Madonna and Rihanna to Justin Bieber will be hitting the red carpet later and with all that excitement going on, we would hate for you to miss anything.

Taylor Swift at last year"s show

Here"s everything you need ahead of the big show.

When are the awards?

Everything will kick off in Las Vegas tonight, Sunday May 22 at the T-Mobile Arena.

If you"re in the US you can catch the show at 8pm on ABC.

Who"s presenting?

Ludacris is back to host for the third year in a row alongside Ciara.

The Goodies singer is slipping into new mum Chrissy Teigen"s shoes - who was on co-hosting duties last year.

At the nominee announcement

Is there going to be drama with Ciara and ex-fiance Future though?

The singer REFUSED to read out her former flame"s name during the nomination announcement last month - so if he wins there could be an awkward moment between the exes.

Who"s performing?

It"s going to be a HUGE night when it comes to performances with Madonna, Rihanna, Britney Spears and Justin Bieber all set to take to the stage.

Spears - who is being honoured with the Millennium Award - will open the show with a medley of her greatest hits, while Justin Bieber will debut new track Company.

Madonna flashes the flesh

Madge will perform a tribute to long-time friend the late great Prince while a more touching moment will come from Celine Dion.

The Canadian star, who is receiving the lifetime-achievement ICON Award, will perform for the first time on television since the sad death of her late husband Renee, with a cover of Queen"s The Show Must Go On.

Gwen Stefani and Black Shelton will perform their romantic duet Go Ahead Break My Heart, while Fifth Harmony, Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato - to name just a few - will take to the stage.

Big Moments?

Kesha has been given the go-ahead to perform at tonight"s awards by Dr Luke"s label Kemosabe, amid their ongoing legal battle, so expect her time on stage to be a big talking point.

Kesha on her way to the Billboard Awards

She claimed earlier this week that the label had blocked her from covering Bob Dylan"s It Ain"t Me Babe during the award show, however they later claimed she was free to do so.

Adele to reveal new video

Another highlight will be coming from Adele.

While the multi-nominated singer isn"t actually performing, she will debut her new video for Send My Love (To Your New Lover).
